Dropped in without an issue. Fit perfect. Gives just enough tab to work. Part is not metal, but for the price and promo code, it was a great deal.

I bought this with a promo code, so it was a great deal, but I didn't realize that the release on my 10/22 charger was already more extended than this one. It may get used some day, but for now it's with my collection of gun parts.

    mag release issues

When I first put it in, it would stick. I had to shave the sides where it conected to the mag release. It still sticks some causing the magazines to not sit correct (some times the mag will fall out of gun, I will have to push it back in). I will have to go and shave some more off the release to get it to function correctly.

Over all I would purchase another for a field rifle, were I in a competition or were building a tack driver a machined unit would be best along with many other expensive additions. It is meant to be used in a fun rifle.
