I bought this trigger for my new Marlin 25N. I know nothing about gunsmithing at all, and I found it a cinch to put in. It's much better than the stock Marlin trigger. I would recommend this trigger to my friends.

I installed this trigger on a Marlin 17VS. Installation was easy without any special tools. The instructions were excellent. The threads in the holes had to be cleaned out with a tap. All in all, the trigger works superbly.

My 22 MAG use to shoot a 1/4 into the right @ 100yrd because of the ruff pull, now its straight and smooth. It was quick and easy to install and adjust.

As with the previous post, I also had to modify the safety of my Marlin 17V. I also retaped the adjustment screw threads. I have not weighed the pull, but I would guess it's around 16oz! I think the trigger is excellent, however it was more than a drop-in.

Very easy to install and adjust. done in about 15 min. if i can do it, anybody can.all you need is a screwdriver. Allen wrenches come with it

Just replace the trigger/sear and trigger spring, and it's like you have a new Marlin! No more creep (do not overdo this adjustment) easy to install. I have one on my Marlin 17vs and will put one on every active Marlin bolt gun I own

I have bought a Rifle Basix triggers previously for my CZ and Savage. They make a terrific rifle trigger. This time for my Marlin 882 made 1989. Great guns those old Marlins, but triggers are really terrible. But your kit fixed the problem, set at 2lbs. Love Rifle Basix triggers for the personal, quality customer service.

Installed the Rifle Basix MAR-1 trigger on a Marlin .22 wmr. The trigger was well made and easy to install. The trigger weight is about two pounds. A suggestion to new users put the trigger in the gun without the trigger return spring, when you put the spring through the hole in the trigger and adjust the spring tension and trigger weight with the screw. To ensure safety after installing, cock the unloaded gun then bump the butt of the weapon on a rubber mat to ensure adequate tension on the sear so it would not release should the rifle be dropped. Excellent product that works better than expected.
