Leupold Mark 2 IMS 1" Integral Mounting System
The Leupold Integral Mounting Systems (IMS) family quickly and easily eliminates the two most common issues faced when mounting standard Rifle Scopes to AR-style rifles; scope height and eye relief. From the Mark 1™ to the Mark 4®, each aluminum IMS cantilever design mounts directly to the firearm’s Mil-Spec 1913/Picatinny to raise the scope and push it forward, eliminating the need for risers or specialized optics with shortened eye relief. All Leupold IMS products are tested to endure the rigors of the field and are covered by the Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
Leupold mark 2 ims Great quality
These work very well on a hunting rifle but are best for AR rifles. The mount holds tight and the rings do also. The metal is solid quality. I tried several 1" tube scope and they all seem to play well with this mount. The longer scopes work better. Short scopes may not have much wiggle room in between the mount points, so you just move the whole mount forward or back as needed.
Leupold Mark 2 scope mount is rock solid
I have a few of these mounts ( 1" & 30mm), they line up scope to line of sight perfectly. They are easy to mount, are rock solid and they also have a life time guarantee...what else do you need? I have these mounts with Leupold 3-9x40 VX-R patrol tactical 30mm matte fireDot TMR & also a 1.25-4x20 VX-R patrol tactical 30mm VX-R fireDot SPR, a few plain Leupold 1.25, 1.5-4x20 with a duplex ret. All I can say is you cannot go wrong with Leupold mounts/scopes or MSP. I would trust my life to either of these, you can too. Good luck, good hunting.Greg
Leupold Mark 2 IMS 1 inch WORKS GREAT
I bought this Mounting System to use on a new custom AR10 type rifle that my son is having built. I already have and use this same system on my custom AR15 that was made to shoot in competition where accuracy is everything. The IMS system is robust, sturdy, and holds my Leupold AR Mark 1 6-18x40, which provides excellent clarity as well a comfortable head/neck position when looking through the scope. I have seen other systems used for this same purpose, but I believe the Mark 2 Integral Mounting System is superior to others I've seen and tested.
Leupold Mark AR 1 mount
The Leupold Mark 4 IMS is awesome! We needed a riser for an Americans Defense Cantilever for use with a cheek riser, and it looks like Merica. Looks better than a square riser block and provides that universal flexibility you want with an AR. The only minor drawback, for this build, is that it's not QD, but standard sized Backups flip-up tall enough to clearly view over it with the 3-9x disconnected. I don't always shoot iron sights at the range, but when I do, it's accuracy by volume. Shoot safe, my friends.
Leupold AR Scope Mount 1.”
Standard cope rings didn't allow me to move the scope far enough forward on my AR upper. This is a great quality, rock-solid ring, and base system! I haven't tried other brands, but why pay more for a base that can't get any stronger than this!!
Excellent Scope Mount!
I purchased the Leupold Mark 2 IMS a few weeks ago to mount a Leopold Mark AR scope to my AR-15. I couldn't be more satisfied with this scope mount. Initially, I installed it, and finger tightened the screws. This was not adequate, so I Loctiteed to the screws before tightening them down. That fixed the problem of the mount working itself loose while shooting. I could not be hapßpier with this combination of mount and scope. It has also held my zero when I have removed the mount entirely and re-attached. I have found this Leupold mount to be an exceptional value at the price I paid for it.
Nice lines on my AR
Impressive Scope Mount! I needed a riser for an Americans Defense Cantilever with use of a cheek riser. The Leupold Mark 2 Mount Looks better than having to use square riser block. This mount provides that universal flexibility you want with an AR. The only insignificant shortcoming, for this build, is that it's not a QD Mount. Standard sized Backups flip-up tall enough to clearly view over it with the 3-9x disconnected. I don't always shoot iron sights at the range, but when I do, it's accuracy by volume.
Solid mount for the AR-15
The Leupold Mark 2 IMS is Solid mount for any AR-15 platform. The instructions include torque specs for the rings and base. Be aware that you should use 65 in/lbs torque for the mount and will need a properly calibrated wrench. I had one that I used for prior applications with the Leupold Mark 4 rings, so I was good to go, but 1st-time buyers should be made aware of this.
