This sight was developed for competition shooter's looking for quicker draw time, but the sharp edges on the bevels still make for easy sight acquisition. Many shooters also use this sight for combat carry. A robust, precise adjustable sight that is a superior choice for both day and night use. Available in either Green or yellow 0.076" Trijicon tritium inserts with white outline. Many experienced instructors believe that using a contrasting color for the rear sight (e.g. yellow-Green-yellow) will save precious fractions of a second during critical moments. This rear sight is paiRed with our ProGlo tritium night sight with a lumi Orange outline that comes with a 0.118'' wide blade and a contoured base that keeps your round-top slide and the sight's dovetail uniform, resulting in a clean installation that requires little (if any) filing to accomplish. Compatible with standard Novak type front sight dovetail cuts (0.330" x 65° x 0.075") as typically found on both custom and factory 1911 pistols.
