I'm really impressed with this sight, especially considering its price. It's made from sturdy aluminum alloy (7075 T6, as claimed by the manufacturer), and it fits the Delta Point Pro footprint perfectly. Measuring about 0.9" at the base, it's ideal for slim or single-stack slides like the Glock 43, P365, and 1911. The brightness is adjustable, ranging from daylight settings to night vision compatible ones. It's designed with a cutout for backup rear sights, though you'll likely need suppressor-height sights for it to work effectively. One of the best features is the motion-sensing technology that turns the sight on, along with an auto-off feature to conserve battery life – both are really smart additions. You can also switch it to a constant on mode. The side tray for the battery is a huge plus, allowing for easy swaps without removing the mounting screws and affecting the zero. It seems very well-sealed against water – more than I've tested it for, at least.

This micro optic I found is just incredible and outshines everything else in the market today! Back when I was in service, from 1998 until my retirement in 2004, I used a Tasco mini dot (3 MOA) sight on my duty pistol. It was always on, which was great, but it was plastic and needed an adapter plate to mount. I've kept it all these years, and it still works, though it's quite worn. Now, let's talk about the present. I've recently purchased the Holosun subcompact HS-407K-X2, and it's a game-changer. It has a six-minute dot, which is just perfect for my vision these days. The build is solid aluminum, and I believe it has a glass lens. It fits my Sig P365xl flawlessly, with no need for any special mounting plates. It completely overshadows my old Tasco mini dot and most other micro dots I've seen. I'm still getting used to it, but I'm pretty sure this one's a keeper!

Ray reviewed the Holosun Sub-compact HS407K-X2 Red Dot Sight and found it to be great value for money. It features an aluminum housing, real glass, and a convenient battery tray that doesn't require sight removal for battery replacement. He advises newcomers to red dots to watch videos on finding the red dot quickly, as a consistent technique is key for fast dot acquisition.

I purchased a Hellcat without a red dot, planning to create a custom setup. After researching various red dots, I chose this one for its features and value. It includes everything needed for mounting, though slight modifications are necessary for a perfect fit on the Hellcat. The shake-to-wake feature is excellent, and the light intensity can be adjusted with the side buttons. Its metal construction adds to its durability. Overall, for its price, it's a great addition to my setup.

After extensive research on RMSc optics, I chose this model primarily because it doesn't require removal from the firearm for battery replacement, a significant advantage over others like the 507k. I found the 65 MOA reticle of the 507k too distracting and recommend this model's 6MOA dot, which is not only less intrusive but also more affordable. It's a great choice unless you absolutely need a red dot and the 407k is unavailable. One thing to note is that the sight magnification is more like 1.2x, not exactly 1x, but this hasn't been an issue for me. However, my experience with this sight has highlighted my astigmatism, affecting my perception of the dot's crispness. Despite this, others who have used it confirm that the dot is indeed sharp and clear.
