GPT This compact, lightweight sight features a sharp 2 MOA dot that is precise without obscuring the target. The glass is clear, and the green dot is particularly eye-catching, enhancing target acquisition. With its solar lens, the battery life is exceptionally long, and the sight can even operate without a battery. The "shake awake" mode is a significant advantage, turning the sight off during inactivity to save battery but instantly activating it when movement is detected. While there may be more expensive options available, this Holosun sight offers excellent functionality at a much more affordable price, including night vision settings for those with NODS.

This optic is highly effective, offering nearly unlimited battery life thanks to its solar power and green dot, which is quickly noticeable due to the human eye's sensitivity to green. The dual mounting options are versatile, and the LED emitter does not obstruct the view, which is a significant advantage. My only concern is that it's made in China. However, for the price, its performance and features are hard to beat. I haven't extensively tested it, but it has maintained its zero so far.

This optic is well-suited for the average user, offering ample durability and reliability for self-defense or civil unrest situations. While it may not be necessary for extreme conditions like those a SEAL might encounter, such as scuba diving or high-impact drops, it performs excellently in everyday scenarios. I've tested it in the harsh desert heat exceeding 100 degrees and in rain and hail without any issues. It's a solid choice for the average person, providing good value at a reasonable price.
