I wanted a heavy duty picatinny rail adapter for my semi-auto rifle. Own two versa bipods. I just buy bipod mounts to fit my rifles. This mount is American made and great quality. The finish on versa, bad products seem a little crude. All most of their sales are military or law enforcement sales. Most of their products seem to be a little pricey. But the old saying you get what you pay for holds true.

I have mounted one of these adapters to the bottom of each of my rifles, varying from fiberglass bolt action hunting rifles to all ar platform rifles. The only requirement is at least 3" of pic rail on the underside of the forearm. This allows me only to have to buy one versa-pod bipod, which can be carried separately and attached when or even if necessary, making for much easier shoulder carrying while hiking and balance and swing while shooting off-hand. As I hunt prairies for deer and mountains for elk this modular design gives me the best of all worlds. I highly recommend it.

This adapter can't be used. The spigot is weld to adapter the way that guiding cam has very important cant to the left and it makes this adapter unusable.
