    • Direct attachment to a Picatinny Rail only

    Good solid rifle bipod

This Picatinny bipod provides an excellent solid platform to shoot from. There's no wobble at the lowest setting or the highest setting.

    Great Rifle Bipod!

This is one of two Harris bipods I use, one for a long-range rifle, the other for an AR platform. It can be very quickly installed/uninstalled using the thumbscrew, and remains tight throughout a shooting event. The only modification I believe required was replacing the knob (for canting) with a lever , as the lever can be ratcheted to keep the bipod canting in position under fire.

    Not my first Harris bipod

This Harris bipod connects to a Picatinny rail. It does not have a quick release, but the thumb screw allows you to put enough tension that it won't go anywhere. This allows me to remove the rifle bipod if I don't want to bench rest the gun. The Harris bipod has notched legs so once they are set, the recoil is not going to affect them. This bipod will allow you your rifle to cant right to left, but will not let you track. There is a knob that you can tighten to stop the cant, but like most people have said you will not be able to put enough tension on it to stop the rifle from moving. I hope this helps your purchase decision.
