Harris Bipod Model 1A2-LM 9" to 13" with Leg Notch Solid Mount Black
A Ultra-light Harris bipod is a quality deplaying and quality produced with heat treated steel and hard alloys. The bipods have a quick-detachable and clamp that will attache to a stud of bolt action rifles with traditional stock design. You can still carry your rifle with a sling or shooting off-hand while useing the Harris Bipod. Hinged bases have pressure adjustment to eliminate tremor or looseness in the crotch area of the rifle bipod. Harris Bipods have an all-weather black anodized finish.

I have this bipod attached to a Remington 700P. It is very well built as all Harris bipods are and are very stable. The leg notches make it very easy to adjust when shooting prone on uneven ground, and they deploy under spring-loaded pressure. There are other bipods out there that look like the Harris, but they are made of lighter metal, and the hardware is not of the same quality. I know this because I have owned them too, mainly the Shooter's Ridge brand. Don't skimp get the Harris. You will be happy.

I bought this bipod about two years ago, and it has been in use ever since. From my 30-06 to my AR-15, Harris has been irreplaceable. It's sturdy in use and changes guns quickly. I would recommend it to anyone and feel it's easily worth the price.

Harris bipods are one of those things in life where US ingenuity, meets high end quality. They held it together in some of the worst places I've had the luxury of being shipped to as well as those where I was lucky enough (or dumb enough) to let my feet, a compass and a map take me to ... and they've always come back in one piece. The mounting system is fool proof and once you take the time to fiddle around with the legs, you'll figure out how to open them up and close with your eyes closed.

When I asked a buddy what he recommended for my Remington 700P .308 Win. He said Harris right away. He was right. I did my homework, looked around and came right to it. It is easy to attach, very sturdy construction, sexy looking and I love the leg notches. It is an extremely essential accessory to my rifle.

Springs hold legs firmly up and down. Very simple to install on QD Stud. No movement once installed, very solid. Light weight for as heavy duty as if seems. Less than a pound and hardly noticable on my AR-15.

I attached it to a Ar 15 White Oak Armory 26 in barrel and shot my best groups ever.. I am anxious to try it at 600 yards. It makes the rifle a bit heavy to carry around but once you get it on the ground or bench it gives you the stability to check out the capabilities of your weapon.
