When it comes to upgrading any M4-type carbine, the Ergo AR15 Ultra Lite Z KeyMod 2-piece Handguards offer a considerable improvement in performance, versatility and comfort compared to the factory standard plastic AR Handguards. The Z Rail design has been quite popular in recent years and the advantages that these particular AR Handguards present is that they are smooth, slim, and lightweight which makes them very easy to grip and to carry as well.

There are KeyMod slots found on the bottom and sides. The Picatinny rail which is on top provides the best in terms of flexibility when it comes to the accessories for mounting this particular unit. Crafted from 6160-T6 Aluminum grade material, this particular Handguard is also covered in a matte black finish that is hard coated from anodized materials.

The Ultra Lite Z KeyMod does not require any special tools for installation as all you need to do is remove the factory plastic Handguards from your weapon and replace them with this product. The separate halves of the KeyMod will tighten into place using the four screws that are included. Plus, there is also a ladder rail cover that is included with the kit as well to protect the top rail from any damage that might occur. The rail cover also provides protection for the grip of the shooter and adds to the comfort level as well.

This is an excellent replacement handrail. Higher quality than what I expected. Very lightweight and durable. It's a little high priced, but I am glad I went ahead and got it.
