Dual Role 1.5x and 6x Red Dot Combat Sight

The latest evolution of a time-honored and battle-proven design of the Elcan Specter Dual Role Scopes product line is 1.5-6x42mm model. For those who are not familiar with European designation or Elcan optics, note that the combat sight has an objective lens diameter of 42mm (1.65") and only two magnification settings: 1.5x and 6x for dual roles. As a consequence of large objective of unmatched light transmission in low light conditions, it is easily class leading combat scope. The second evolution of that Elcan concept, the 1.5-6x, continues the features of previous 1-4x sight. The second iteration also has low profile dual-field-of-view (DFOV) but offering an extended capability to machine gun operators and designated marksmen for a long range precision fire and suppression, even to the 600 meters.

Based upon the battle-proven design, the new creation in the family of Dual Role Optical Sights enables higher magnification to achieve greater precision, and longer engagement ranges with a flip of the zoom lever found on the left side.

The unit is ideal instrument for designated marksman rifles providing a ridiculously large sixteen degree (28.7m / 86') field of view (FOV) in CQB mode, while switches instantly to 6x magnified sight with four degree (7m  / 21') FOV, which is still remarkably large, allowing you to see plenty of area around your target. Whatever selection shooter chooses, the dual role scope offers an optimized optical path and identical eye relief in both modes, meaning that the operator is concentrated solely on the targets.

At a weight of 708 grams (22.3 oz.), the SpecterDR 1.5x/6x Optical Sight is larger and heavier than other Specter Dual Role counterparts, but it is still half the weight of two scopes which it replaces. A substantial part of the scope`s weight is credited to the large, superb, crystal-clear glass, one of the best in the industry, on par with 1st tier European optics. The quite impressive features of Elcan dazzling optic are complemented by a LED illuminated brilliant red-dot or reticle etched in glass, making it an optically excellent instrument as for CQB as well as precision aiming.
