Evolution Gun Works Savage bases will work with any long action round back Savage rifle with an ejection port. It is alsocompatible with the Stevens Long actions.
The round back on this mount will accommodate rounded receivers, and guns that have an accu-trigger.
Savages without an accu-trigger will require our flat back mount (listed separately).
This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous.
We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
We recommend:
0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards
20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yards
When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, we recommend zeroing at 200 yards.
The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
The distinction between inferior quality and premium Savage 110 scope base is undeniable. At MSP, we only offer Savage 110 Accessories from the most trusted brands like EGW Mounts. Buy with confidence that we stand behind the product we sell.

Works perfectly for Savage 220
I put this on top of my Savage 220 with medium rings and a Bushnell Banner 1.75-4x32 scope. The construction of the rail feels high quality, and it lines up perfectly. I put some Remington Accutips 2 3/4" shells through it, and the rail allows plenty of clearance for ejecting shells. I love this setup!
Ingenious!!
Finally! A mounting solution for those "suffering" with Savage's long action! I'd read posts online of people struggling with trying to fit scope rings and scopes on long-action Savages. Then I found this base. The folks at EGW have come up with a winner ... this zero MOA Picatinny rail allowed me to easily mount a Leupold VX-R scope with excellent eye relief. I was concerned about scope kiss with my Savage 111 in .338 Win Mag. Cross that worry off my list ... thanks EGW!
Savage Long Action Mount
Fit my long action, Savage, perfectly, and provided the secure mount and adjustable eye relief for the scope I wanted. I had no problem zeroing the range, and I am pleased with the fit.
Excellent scope mount,
Excellent scope mount, high quality, perfect fit. This is the fix to gain flexibility in scope position for that loooonnnngggggg 110 action. I used this on a Savage 220F slug gun (which has the 110 action) combined with a set of low Leupold PRW rings to mount a Leopold VX-III in 1.75-6x32mm. This combination worked very well to get a scope with a relatively short tube sufficiently to the rear for proper eye relief and low enough to suit me.
This Savage 111 scope mount was advertised perfectly.
This Savage 111 scope mount was advertised perfectly. I would buy another one later on for a new project and recommend this to everyone. Since the base is so long, some scopes may require medium or high rings.
EGW Savage 110 Picatinny Rail held up
EGW Savage 110 Picatinny Rail held up to manufacturer's claims. Bolted onto a rifle with no problems. Likewise, with scope rings (although I did need to get shorter rings). Money well spent.
The fit onto the Savage 110
The fit onto the Savage 110 was perfect and the supplied mounting screws were the correct lengths for the front and rear receiver holes. I also like that they gave torque specs for the screws. This mount allows the maximum flexibility for adjusting scope eye relief adjustment.
I use Nightforce on any rifle that I can
I use Nightforce on any rifle that I can. I have purchased other Picatinny bases that were not Nightforce and were not cheap that I had to do work on. The EGW Picatinny went on my Savage 308 12F/TR and is good quality.
