MECHANICAL RECOIL REDUCTION SYSTEM
The Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the gun. This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (three springs) and controls the functionality of the gun. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame. Also accompanying this system is a bushing and two separate external springs so the shooter can fine-tune the weapon for his/her personal standards.

The DPM WALTHER PPQ Q5 MATCH 9mm Recoil Reduction Spring Rod DPM Systems replaces the original factory guide rod/spring system and produces an advanced recoil reduction by absorbing the shock gradually and slowing the slide down before its impact with the frame of the pistol. Because the system is an interior modification of your pistol, it will not change the external dimensions of the handgun, therefore there is no for a new holster, sights or any other accessory you own. The DPM WALTHER PPQ Q5 MATCH 9mm recoil spring system works due to its multi-spring rod design (three springs) by producing an advanced recoil reduction technique by gradually slowing the slide down before impacting the frame of the pistol using Spring No. 1 (see fig. below) and Spring No. 2. The third spring (Spring No. 3), which is contained within the rod itself controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame.

I have a Walther PPQ M2, and while the recoil is noticeable (it's just a 9mm), I did notice the muzzle flip more with the gun compared to my Glock 19. Having read up on people installing this and having a dramatic decrease in felt recoil/muzzle flip, I decided to take the plunge. After installing I shot over 170 rounds with multiple loads of brass and steel cased ammo with no problems whatsoever. I expected it to fail with the underpowered Wolf ammo but no issues. Besides experimenting out different ammo types, I did try slow firing, triple taps, and rapid mag dumps to see if there were any malfunctions but again perfect performance. The reduced muzzle flip was very obvious, and I could "track" my sights better on target during triple and double taps so with that I recommend this right after replacing those awful plastic sights on the gun.

Excellent system - Walther PPQ M2 already nearly perfect weapon but this recoil reduction system making it even better. No really notable on the short distance but staring from 15 yards improvement very visible. Firing rate also notably improved
