To the above review, you use the spring with the least amount of LB weight to get a softer less recoil gun. Not the strongest one, that might be used for different ammo Loads or if your gun isn’t cycling properly on home pressed ammo you may need to tweak the spring weight. For good brass ammo like PMC/Blazer, Federal ect the lightest spring with the short guide rod tip will give a decent amount of felt recoil reduction. It’s really felt in the follow up shots.

I used the strongest springs for the most recoil reduction, and the change is barely noticeable when compared side by side to the stock recoil assembly. Still, works fine and it's nice to have an extra assembly on hand.
