1911 Delrin Plunger Tube Stake-In Tool

The 1911 Delrin Plunger Tube Stake-In Tool by Evolution Gun Works (EGW) is designed for the precise installation of plunger tubes on 1911 frames. This tool, crafted from Hard Delrin and carbon steel, ensures a non-marring process, preserving the integrity of your firearm during staking.

Usage:

1. Remove the grips from the gun.
2. Use an air grinder or Dremel to create a small funnel on the inside of the frame where the rivets of the plunger tube go in.
3. Test fit the plunger tube, apply red Loctite, and reinsert it into the frame.
4. Place the frame and plunger tube in a smooth jaw vise with the Delrin block against the frame.
5. Insert the staking tool through the frame, aligning it with the rivet.
6. Hammer the staking tool until the rivet is properly swaged, then repeat for the second rivet.
