I bought the EPS Carry 6 MOA Red dot for my Glock 48 MOS. The good news is it fits great, the original sights are still usable, and the dot is fantastic. This is my first 6 MOA dot, and I prefer it much more than my 2 MOA dots. Also, the two screws go through the sight, adapter plate, and into the slide in one shot, eliminating the need for separate screws to hold the sight to the adapter and then to the plate, which is a poor design. However, the bad news is the sight comes with three sets of screws, and none of them fit the Glock 48 MOS. The original Glock MOS plate screws are too short, and the correct diameter screws with the EPS are too long, interfering with parts inside the slide. CH Precision Weapons sells a screw kit with three screws (including one extra) that are supposed to be the right length for this combination. I got these, and they seem to work, but they only give me about 2¼ turns of thread engagement, which is less than I’m comfortable with. I’d prefer a minimum of 3 turns. So, I’ll likely take out the CHPW screws and carefully grind/file the long screws that came with the Holosun until they are 1.0 - 1.5 mm longer than the CHPW screws and try that.
