Faxon uses 9310 tool steel for the bolt, known for its superior strength and fatigue resistance over standard Carpenter 158. The entire carrier assembly is salt bath nitride coated inside and out for excellent wear resistance, corrosion protection, and reduced friction — giving you smoother function and easier cleaning.
This BCG features a Type 2 .136” bolt face, compatible with modern Grendel and ARC chambered barrels. Each unit is MPI tested, shot-peened, and fitted with a high-strength S7 extractor and “Crane” O-ring for added reliability under high pressure and rapid fire.
Full-auto rated and superfinished, this BCG also includes forward assist serrations, making it perfect for both tactical and competition use.
