C&H Precision Optic Plate for FN 509 to Trijicon RMR, SRO & Holosun 407C, 507C

Swapping plates or optics on your FN 509 should be simple—this kit gives you the correct, ready-to-go hardware so you can mount with confidence and keep your zero. Built for the FN 509 optics-ready system, it replaces worn, lost, or one-time-use screws and saves you from chasing odd thread pitches or lengths.

    What this kit is

A complete replacement screw set for FN 509 optics plates and popular red dots. It’s sized for the platform’s optics-ready cut and the common footprints shooters actually use, so installation is straightforward and secure.

    Compatibility

    • Pistols: FN 509 series (V4 MIL/LEO cuts). Many shooters also use this hardware with FN 510 and FN 545 plates—verify your plate cut before ordering.

    • Optics footprints: Trijicon RMR/SRO/RCR, Holosun 407C/507C/507Comp/508T, and other RMR-pattern dots. If you’re running enclosed systems (509T, ACRO/MPS), use the hardware matched to those plates.

    • Plates: Designed to pair with FN-specific adapter plates. Always match plate → optic footprint → screw kit.

    Why this kit

    • Correct thread pitch & length: Prevents bottoming out or thread strip.

    • Secure under recoil: Proper fastener length and head profile for solid engagement.

    • Clean install: Fresh screws reduce the risk of backing out, shearing, or galling.

    • Time saver: No more mixing and matching from generic packs.

    What’s included

    • Plate-to-slide screws (FN 509 optics cut)

    • Optic-to-plate screws for RMR-pattern optics (and variants where specified)

    • Alignment/locating pins where required by the footprint

    • Install card with best-practice steps

    Installation notes

    • Degrease screws and threaded holes, then apply blue threadlocker (medium strength).

    • Torque to the optic and plate manufacturer’s spec using a calibrated inch-pound driver.

    • After 24 hours, confirm torque and re-confirm zero after the first range session.

    • If your optic body or plate sits unusually high/low, recheck screw length before tightening.

    FAQ

Will this work with Holosun 507C/508T/507Comp on an FN 509?
Yes—use the RMR-pattern optic screws from the kit with an RMR-pattern FN 509 plate.

What about enclosed emitters like Holosun 509T, Aimpoint ACRO, or Steiner MPS?
Those footprints use different plate interfaces and hardware. Choose the kit version that matches your plate and optic footprint.

Does this fit FN 510 or FN 545?
Many plates for the 510/545 share the same FN “V4 MIL/LEO” interface. Check your plate manufacturer’s compatibility list and select the matching screw kit.

    What torque should I use?
Follow the optic and plate manufacturer’s published specs. Typical ranges are 10–20 in-lb for optic screws and slightly higher for plate-to-slide, but always default to the official spec for your parts.

Can I reuse old screws with threadlocker residue?
Not recommended. Old threadlocker can skew torque readings and reduce clamp force. Fresh hardware gives the most reliable hold.

How do I confirm screw length is correct before tightening?
Hand-start the screw and measure protrusion; verify it doesn’t bottom in the optic or contact the extractor plunger area. If you feel a hard stop before clamp-up, stop and reassess length.

Will this kit fix a plate that won’t stay tight?
Fresh, properly sized hardware solves most loosening issues. Also verify plate/slide cleanliness, thread condition, correct torque, and that your plate includes the proper locating pins.
