This AK-47 Stock Set set was purchased as a gift. The finish on this stock is excellent, and the color is fantastic (for those that like a deep red color). It has a beautiful satin sheen which is what the recipient of the gift wanted. If you like a deep red satin finish, then this is for you. The quality of the wood is excellent. No dings, dents, or defects that I can see. Overall I am delighted with the quality fit and finish of this stock set and would suggest it to anyone looking for a great replacement stock set.

I have a WASR AK-47 with a loose stock that needed to be replaced along with the composite gas tube rail that came with it. This AK Wood stock was a excellent match for it, and It was a great price for the quality.

This wood is laminate, and won't hold up to the recoil of a 7.62x39mm very well. The stock broke after just 500 rounds. The wood looks nice but the price is not worth it unless you are just looking for a prop or something to last just one or two range trips.

Great product, however, after installation I noticed a small crack in the stock. After firing, the crack expanded and caused a larger wobble issue. I cannot blame the product because I am unsure if it was due to my installation or just a product defect. Other than that it seems to be well made and beautiful.

I was sold the stock, which read "IN STOCK". Five days later I got an email saying that it was backordered for weeks. I had to cancel the order and waste alot of time. If you want to order make sure you call and see if it is in stock, because the online site is probably wrong.

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. The wood stock looks awesome on my Saiga 7.62 rifle. This part may be a direct fit for some AK variants, it wasn't for the Saiga. I had to modify a few things to get it to fit, specifically the trigger group, gas tube, and trigger guard.

Made 2 great AKs with the brown and black sets. Will scratch easily. Needed to shim to fill gaps at bottom of Romy receiver. Includes drill bit for stock screws. GORGEOUS furniture. Lots of compliments on the looks of the stocks.
