Well made forend. Looks great on my 870. Somewhat tight fit over the existing forend tube.

Read other reviews, wanted to set up my 870 for any use. Magpul products have been suitable for ar project, decided to do the same with Magpul shotgun parts, this forend grip was the right choice! It has good purchase, and the color is a good fde.one of the neat aspects of the buy is it comes with a plastic tool to remove nut holding old stock forend on . as usual Magpul covers the bases for easy install, with easy instructions! my hand won't be slipping off forend in wet conditions! Customer service is excellent, and shipping was free over 49 bucks. Used Magpul forend with SGA stock, old 870 never looked so good ! cant wait to get in the field with the new set--up!

Reliable works great looks even better. Converting an old 870 to the tactical shotgun, Magpul makes all the difference. Everything I have of theirs is excellent! Good price.

Great product. I got this because I wanted something with a bit more surface area and a firmer grip than the corn-cob stock forend. The ridges a the flaring at the front and rear of the forend, combined with the larger square shape, is much more conducive to a sturdy grip. It also easily mounted a flashlight (w/ M-Lok adapter), another great bonus. Very easy to assemble, comes with a wrench to remove existing 870 forends.

I was quite happy with this Magpul 870 forend. I bought one in black and one in orange. They come with the wrench for the (castle?)nut to change it out. Fit is excellent, and the function is excellent. It does extend forward of the end of the mag on a stock 870. Not a big deal unless you have a sling adapter (like I did) there. I like that it does not come back past the receiver when actuated like the stock ones do as that creates a pinch point that could cause you to short-stroke your gun. I attached a compact Streamlight to both of the ones I bought with a short rail section on the undersides. Works excellent and is a LOT cheaper option than others that have lights built into the forend. I recommend this product if you're looking to replace your forend.

A lot better than the original one on my shotgun. The fit was a little snug. I had to tap it on with a hammer.

A lot better than the original 870 Forend. It is easier to handle than the stock wood forend, and by the way, I have a super mag, and it does work I don't know why they say it doesn't. Altogether, a great looking and better performance.

I love the product but it took over 2 weeks to get it! I ordered it and the next day got an email that it was back ordered. I would have ordered elsewhere if I had known it was back ordered at the time of purchase. I should have known to cancel my order at that point. Customer service was good with all my emails though.
