Surefire Sidekick Ultra-Compact Variable-Output LED Flashlight
For those who are looking at getting a powerful key light, the Surefire Sidekick Ultra Compact LED Flashlight just might be the answer. This rechargeable flashlight fits conveniently on any key ring and can be used anytime to illuminate what you need. Perfect for emergency use or just when you are trying to find something in the dark, this compact LED flashlight from Sunfire offers solid illumination and peace of mind when you are in the dark.
On high, the flashlight puts out an impressive 300 lumen MaxVision Beam that will light up at a distance of over 150’. There is also a medium setting at 60 lumens and a low setting at 5 lumens for different uses from doing close-up work, reading, or navigating in the dark all while maintaining your night-vision goggles.
This product is perfect for anyone who needs to have available light around in a compact package, particularly considering that the light from a smartphone can only produce about 1% compared to the high setting on the Surefire. You can carry the light on your key ring, inside your pocket or purse and it can be easily recharged thanks to the micro-USB port. You can hook it into a wall charger or your vehicle for recharging so that it is ready to go anytime.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
It's an awesome little light
Let me just start by saying that you should buy the surefire sidekick. It's an awesome little light, with better build quality than I expected and really bright light for its size. In fact, more light than several larger 2 or 3 cell flashlights that I own. It slips into your pocket with ease, and it's great that it's rechargeable as I can hook it up to my battery packs, solar charger, car USB charging port, or just about anywhere else when it needs more juice. This is now part of my everyday carry kit. I would say the beam is more of a floodlight than a spotlight, but it's still blindingly bright.
For years I carried a stream light nano. It is a great tiny little light and served me well. I bought the surefire sidekick ultra as I needed something brighter that was still convenient. This is amazing! I bought one for every key set. The brightest setting heats up quick and will dim in a few mins. The med and low last much longer. Recharging is easy. This isn't a long use flashlight, but when you need convenient light on demand for short periods, this is what you need.
An Infinitely Useful Little Light
You won't know how frequently useful it is to have a bright little light with you all the time until you have one. Find a friend's keys, find a leaking hose under the hood, find the bad circuit breaker, find the neighbor's cat in the bushes, find the right output port on the back of a computer under your desk, read a serial number on the corroded data plate of a 30-year-old air conditioner.. This surefire sidekick flashlight is perfect -- it weighs almost nothing, it recharges fast and has enough on-time (especially at one of the lower power levels) to be useful all week between charges.
Recharable and bright
I own two of these sidekick flashlights and gave two away as gifts. Everyone loves them. The fact they are rechargeable is a huge plus, and recharging is fast and easy. I like to walk my dog at night; some streets are better lite than others, so I use all three modes each night. The fact this is lightweight is a plus, and the on/off button, which can be difficult to turn on, never comes on accidentally. I would buy more if they weren't so expensive.
Surefire makes great flashlights
There are other flashlight brands out there that are equally as good. But for a keychain flashlight, the surefire sidekick one is very bright, and there is no need to replace batteries, it's USB rechargeable. Very durable, and the Seller provided fast shipping. I recommend this little keychain flashlight.
