Surefire M600 Ultra Scout Light
There is no better recommendation for any weapon or equipment than “combat proven.” When people says that some flashlights are built for battle and ready for anything they probably think of SureFire lights, which are synonymous with the best tactical flashlight.
Another one of SureFire’s many tactical flashlights is Ultra Scout M600 light featuring a factory-focused Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens providing far-reaching beam ideal for mid- to longer-range applications. With 500 lumens, the new M600 Scout light generates nearly twice the output and has all of the same features for perfect tactical performance as the smaller Ultra Scout M300. Unlike its predecessors M600IB with a maximum output of 120 lumens, the new one produces 500 lumens. Furthermore, its digitally regulated output is designed to maximize battery life and smooth beam with significant reach enabling of positive target identification (PID) out to at least 100 yards.
Weighing in at just 5.6 ounces and measuring at 5.5 inches in length with bezel diameter: 1.1 inches, the sleek M600 packs a lot of punch without being a burden to carry. The M600 has Mil-Spec hard-anodized aluminum body which is durable and lightweight intended for mounting on shoulder-stocked weapon`s MIL-STD-1913 rails via its fully integrated thumbscrew clamp.
This high-performance rifle mountable LED light generates a beam with a bright 600-lumen center cone with a dimmer peripheral ring without hotspots or holes and produces 150 lumens of tactical-level output for 2.4 hours on two lithium 123 batteries. The M600 light can be fitted with either of two different switches, making this tactical accessory ready for just about any battlefield condition. The first is a click-type shrouded tailcap pushbutton switch and remote tape switch coming with a 7-inch cable that provides fingertip control without changing shooter grip on the weapon.

The surefire scout m600 is one hard as nails light with plenty of brightness. Mounted it to my Ruger SR-556. I already placed about 500 rounds down range, and the Surefire hasn't missed a beat. There is a reason why this is the best tactical rifle light. Optics had the best deal, and customer service was excellent.

These lights are amazing. Lightweight and small in size yet super powerful and bright. Nothing reaches out and touches the darkness quite like a Surefire light. I rock these on all my AR's and pretty much anything with a rail. I even drilled into a few stocks just so I could mount a rail so that I could mount one of these m600's. Don't buy a cheapo light. Go with what always works: Surefire.

Mounted great on my AR, light weight, slim fit, and very bright. It was just what I was looking for in a tactical light. I replaced the standard mount with a LaRue Tactical LT272 lever mount, allowing me to transfer the light quickly from any rail system.

This light is excellent. It came as a recommendation from a fellow operator. Many times I see Surefire items and choke at their cost. However, This item is in the middle of the road when looking at spending big money on Lumens. It attached quickly to my M4 rail and is removable easily enough to place it on a helmet or other gear. I like the choice of batteries; I am moving to all CR123 operated lights for the ease of not having to carry a million different types. The tail cap is easily accessible without being accidentally bumped. Also, size and weight are factors when combining with Pec-15 and other accessories. I would buy again, and I have since thanked the person who recommended it to me. You can never have enough light when facing a split-second decision on a threat! You don't want to regret a decision because you could not see the details. Thanks.

The Surefire M600 Bombproof Weapon Light,1000* lumens, is bright & good hot spot. Mount isn’t good. I upgraded it to Larue Mount, also Lithium Cr123 batteries instead of the Surefire ones that came with the light—highly recommended! Good to go!

The Surefire M600 high-quality Scout Light. Super bright and very simple to install and use. It does precisely what it’s supposed to do. I have two of my AR-15’s. I am planning on buying a third. These are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
