The Streamlight TLR-6 subcompact gun mounted lighting is an ultra-light weapon lighting designed for subcompact pistols. Weighing in at 1.27 ounces, this weapon light from Streamlight fits securely on the trigger guard of your gun. Push buttons on each side of the lighting allow rapid ambidextrous utilization of the Streamlight subcompact gun mounted light. Change batteries easily without having to adjust the view even while the light is mounted.

The Streamlight TLR 6 is an excellent addition to the M&P shield. It has a profile that matches the weapon with no snags or sharp edges. The 100 lumens is a little anemic by today's current standards, but that is relative to what it is needed for. It will still flood a darkened room with enough light to complete it's intended task or allow the user the identification of the target. The non-laser version gives the user a little more run time for the battery life, and honestly, the laser is still more of secondary consideration to target ID. The TLR 6 is susceptible to moisture more than some of the other TLR series (consideration for ITWB carry). Still, Streamlight stands behind their products and has replaced an earlier model I purchased. One of the pitfalls for the TLR 6 shield is lack of holster options, but once you get past that, they are an excellent advantage for the EDC M&P shield platform.

Awesome light. Works great on my 43 — very secure and surprisingly bright light. The only thing that could improve is a slightly more narrow beam. Of course, more lumens would be great, but that’s hard to do with such a small device.

Excellent quality light fits flush. Shockingly bright for 100 lumens. It was also effortless to find a holster that would provide for appendix carry. I would recommend this light.

I bought the Streamlight TLR-6 laser/light combination for my Glock 43. in general Subcompacts pistol is not the best when it comes to accuracy. Having the TLR6 capabilities for acquiring the target and lighting up the surrounding area helps to prevent accidental damage. The laser gives you a level of accuracy that my eyes alone did not achieve in all lighting conditions. The light was not my priority, but it provides useful side benefit.
