The Streamlight Stinger DS LED HL is a high lumen flashlight that provides 800 lumens of maximum illumination. Its wide beam pattern gives you a bright flood light that will light up the area around you, and the switches on the head and tail cap provide maximum versatility.

I am an automotive tech; the snap-on guy sells this light for double the price, I wanted it the moment I saw how bright and durable it was and the parts can be replaced. i love the stinger ds led hl so much it bought another for my home. Its a little heavy and big, but if visual inspection and clarity are what you need, this is your light. When they say impact resistance, I put this thing through hell at work, and it keeps impressing me.

The Streamlight 75454 is extremely bright, and most of the time, I adjust it to the other setting of brightness because it’s so gorgeous. Plus, you can charge it in your car if you see fit. I use it at work all day and rarely ever have to change the battery. I am a mechanic, and in my line of business, you tend to drop it every so often, and without fail, it continues to shine bright. Big fan

The Streamlight stinger ds led hl flashlight is far brighter than anything else I have seen in this size. It's durable. I have dropped it several times now, and it is still in good shape. The only downside I have for this flashlight is trying to run it for more than an hour at a time, the light dims. I think this is a feature to help save the battery life and possibly the LED. I'm lead to this conclusion because if I turn it off for 30 minutes or so after an extended run, the light comes back at full intensity until the battery itself drains (about 2 hours per charge).

The best full-size flashlight I’ve owned. 2 years later, still kicking in strong! I did a whole lot of research before I bought this little and let me save you some time..... If your looking for a full-size truck is unit lights purchase it! You can mount the charger on your center console for convincing. If you're looking for an excellent hunting or field light, this is it! the Streamlight Stinger DS LED HL is bright and will never leave you hanging as long as you keep a reasonable charge. But if you're looking for a belt/duty light, this IS NOT your best choice unless you prefer old school big lights for......... Well, you got the point. No since elaborating! I recommend the Streamlight strion for the belt and an overall best duty light. I’m a Streamlight fan for life. I’ve dropped both my strion and stinger 3+ stories with no ill effects on functionality. Great product for Streamlight I’ll definitely recommend and purchase again

The Streamlight stinger ds led hl is the first decent flashlight that I have bought for myself. For mechanics, it's fantastic, extraordinarily bright, and durable. For looking at close up or reflective surfaces like rotors while checking brakes, the highest setting on this HL model is too gorgeous but on low it perfect. Just something to note, I guess since it defaults to high every time the light is powered on. The battery life is excellent, and with the piggyback setup, there's no chance of running out of power in a workday. I did consider the string model over the stinger, but I will say it is nice having the more significant light because it's harder to lose and more comfortable to prop it places in engine bays. Well worth the investment if you're a professional mechanic.
