After using a led cheapy light for IDPA & general use, I sprung for this the urefire 6px pro. My god, is it bright. I've dropped mine(while on)in the muck waters of a duck pond, onto a hard concrete surface, and it still works. If you are downrange of this light, it will temporarily blind whoever it's pointed at, which makes it a great tac light. The best thing is it's got a lockout mode on the twist cap so you don't accidentally turn it on...and it's a single mode light.

high-quality product. It is effortless to use, and the dual intensity output is useful when you don't need the full 200 lumens. At full power, though, this light can light up the night, better than comparable Streamlights I own. The aluminum body is solid and should stand up to a lot of abuse. If you want instant full brightness, you may want to consider the Surefire 6PX Tactical, however this versatile light does give you a couple of options depending upon your needs.
