Magpul MOE AK Stoct
Magpul has recently released their new MOE AK stock earlier this summer for the AK-47 rifle and also AK-74 variant rifles. Featuring the all the best bits of the incredibly popular Zhukov-S Stock, such as its wedge block fitment, the MOE AK Stock from Magpul provides users an incredibly handy internal storage compartment, a high quality shock absorbing butt-pad with high-quality QD sling swivel mount and also includes the option for a variety of height cheek risers. The MOE Magpul AK Stock is also known to be compatible with AK rifles which feature a fixed stock single tang trunnions, nevertheless, it isn’t compatible with Norinco Type 56S/MAK-90s or Yugo AKs. Much like any Magpul product, the MOE Magpul AK stock is produced in the USA and retails around $59.95. When it comes to prices the price tag for the Magpul MOE is very reasonable, and the aesthetic appears to be consistent with the entire Magpul line. The MOE stock comes in a variety of designs and colours such as plum, OD green, FDE and black.
The MOE stock is attached to the AK rifle much like the standard regular wooden stock. The rear trunion is firmly riveted in place, regardless as to whether you choose to use the straight fixed stock or even the folding stock which is also offered. All the user needs to do is simply unscrew the existing rifle’s stock retaining screw, before placing in the new stock onto the rifle and screwing in the retaining screw back in place. It’s a quick and easy swap and certainly makes a significant big difference to your rifle.
This Magpul Stock designed exclusively for the AK rifle, all all known to offer replaceable cheek attachments in order to raise your comb height to the very exact point where you choose to use your preferred sighting system, which is certainly a bonus with many users.

Magpul moe ak stock is fantastic

I just mounted this fixed Magpul stock on a SA85M, and it's fantastic! The fit of the stock to the receiver is spot on. The stock is very secure. One screw passes through the trunion and into a "Weld Nut"; it's a threaded plate that slides into a T-slot molded into the stock. Then a second screw passes through the tang as on the OEM, and this screw threads into another "weld nut." Finally, a "Wedge Block" is tensioned to wedge the front of the stock into the Ak's receiver. I will warn you that I consider the installation instructions to be horrible, but I found the installation to be intuitive. Despite reading the instructions once and failing, I had the stock installed in about 10 minutes. I'm impressed by their use of that wedge to secure the stock inside the receiver. There's a spring-loaded slide that ensures the cheekpiece. I suppose that one might complain that it's none too easy to manipulate, but I'm glad of this because I don't want my cheekpiece to fall off inadvertently. Optional height cheekpieces are available, which I suppose might be appropriate for those running an optic. And quick-detachable swivel inserts are also offered. These are inserted into pockets that are molded into the stock just ahead of the buttplate. Initially, I was a bit concerned about how securely this plastic stock could be attached. But I am thrilled with this fixed AK stock...

I bought this AK stock because it was fixed and stable. Therefore no chance of that annoying rattle. Furthermore, it is in the same position all the time, no chance of it sliding in one of six positions. Overall I like this Magpul AK Stock.

I have been looking for a replacement stock for my Norinco NHM-91. This AK stock fit great, even though the Chinese AK's supposedly have a slightly different tang. The "Weld Nuts" fit in a slot that allows for slight variances in the tang dimensions. The overall fit is tight and did not need any modifications.

I had an old wood stock on my AK that I wanted to replace with the Magpul MOE AK Stock. This Stock is more firm stabile on your shoulder. Plus you have added storage area for extra batteries for optics or fire starter kits if you are bogged down in your pack.
