I mounted this EOTech exps2-0 on my tavor. I was debating between the Eotech XPS2-0 or an Aimpoint of some sort. I am glad that I chose the EOTech. I like the sight picture on the EOTech, compared to the single dot to the Aimpoint. With this sight, I can consistently hit an 18" steel plate up to 300 yards of a bench with my Tavor. Highly recommended on any tactical carbine or rifle.

This EOTech exps2 is an excellent HWS, Easy to zero in, sight shot in the black at 50 yards without bore sighting. I have it mounted on a Colt M-4 Carbine model LE6920 with front iron sight, EXPS2 mounts high enough to see over front iron sight, I installed the Magpul MBUS flip-up rear sight,the iron sights can be used without removing the Eotech HWS EXPS2, Thank You EOTECH!!!

I've been an Eotech fan for years, despite having tried most of the other offerings by Aimpoint and Trijicon. I've found through a number of carbine classes that the Eotech's circle-dot reticle is faster for me than a simple dot and the larger FOV more forgiving of eye alignment when shooting from awkward positions with imperfect cheek weld. With that being said, in the past, I've always preferred Eotech's AA models due to AA battery availability, but in the back of my mind, I'd wondered about the longevity of the plastic battery compartments, being aware of the occasional rare report of recoil-induced compressed or loose battery springs. The EXPS 2-0 seems to have addressed that problem with the metal transverse CR123 battery compartment that's stronger, shorter and avoids inline spring compression from recoil. The quick-detachable mount is fast & easy to adjust and install plus appears much less likely to loosen over time than the previous Eotech mounts. The only caveat is to use quality CR123's as cheaper batteries may not be strong enough to take the lateral pressure of recoil and end up rupturing inside the battery compartment. Finally, the actual weight of the EXPS is 11oz, not the 8oz listed (which is the weight of the XPS). Regardless, I give the EXPS 2-0 5 stars for its battery compartment, size, and mount improvements.

Great sight by EOTech. I own the HHS I system as well, which is mounted on a 16" carbine. The EXPS2 is intended for use on a 10.3" SBR. Allows standardized training/operation across platforms and with the EXPS2 you get all the essential features at a lower price point. I used the EOTech 553 model during my time in the Ranger Regiment and liked it a lot. I was looking to replace the Aimpoint that I had on my personal AR and decided to go with an EOTech. The EXPS2 was a great choice. it is much shorter than a full size model such as the 553 so it takes up much less rail space. The EXPS2 is a solid optic and the 123 batteries have decent life spans in it. The battery compartment is much more solid than the ones found on models such as the 553. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Mounts Plus got it delivered in a very timely manner as well.

I went back and forth between the EXPS2 and XPS2 and finally went with the EXPS2 due to the 7mm raised base. The sight is well made and the reticle is great for fast target acquisition. Additionally sighting in the EXPS2 on my ColtLM6920 was a breeze. Mounting Solutions Plus delivered the sight before the promised date and I would definitely order from them again.

This is my first holographic sight that I ever try and it was far better I than I could hope for. Up to now I only used iron sights and always hit my target and never consider using any other sighting systems but when I got an S&W M&P-15 I went out and got one. Zeroing it in was a mirror problem because of the range rules for min distance but I was able too anyway. I did removed the sight afew times to see if it does hold the zero and it does.
