Fit just like it should!

I was in a hurry and ordered the wrong grip for my shotgun...but I retro fitted it to make it work. Other than my mistake, the grip is perfect, and comes with the bolt and two bolt-hole covers. Thanks!

Purchased it to convert my Mossberg 500 shotgun into a Shockwave, and it works perfectly. Way less expensive than buying a shockwave. And the answer is YES. It helps to cut down on the recoil and makes the shotgun way more manageable that using a pistol grip.

If you have a shotgun for home protection, you need this product. Its perfect!!!

Customer service was beyond my expectations. Once my order was processed their stock for the item was depleted. By email their customer service contacted me about how to proceed with my order. I stated I was in no hurry for the grip and would appreciate them shipping a grip when Mounts Plus stock is replenished. Beyond my expectations, I received my grip in less than a week.

Felt recoil with my Mossberg 500 is amazing. The contrast is night and day.️ My only regret is that I did not buy the Shockwave Raptor Grip sooner.

Shockwave Raptor Grip fits my el-cheapo Maverick 88 perfectly. Fits nice and snug tightens down firm and not much of an overlap where it connects. You can't tell from the image, but the butt of the grip is really kind of ball-shaped which I think helps keep a good grip. It appears well made, and I assume it to last the life of the gun without any difficulties.

I love this Raptor grip; it shortened my Mossberg 500 significantly, now I can take the corners better in case of any home defense issue.

I have been shooting smoothbores with pistol grips for twenty years, starting with my Mossberg Maverick Model 88 when I was a teenager. I currently have a Mossberg 500 AOW that had a traditional pistol grip on it. The recoil was brutal on my shooting hand with that grip, so I wanted to try this different grip shape. I bought this grip and was immediately impressed when I received it. It is very sturdy and looks good on the shotgun. Installation was painless and required no modifications to my gun or the grip. As some other reviewers have noted, there is some overlap of the grip over the receiver (the grip is slightly bigger in all dimension than the receiver). This does not look bad at all, it is quite uniform, and with its nice rounded edge, there is no danger of snags, etc.

Love it — excellent quality and well suited for me. I am comfortable shooting with it, and it decreases recoil significantly over the conventional pistol grip. The texture is a little smooth for my liking. I did find it helpful/necessary to add skateboard tape to the handle in order to obtain a secure purchase of the weapon.

This grip is excellent for those who want a shorter package when it comes to their 12 gauge but dislike the feeling of more conventional grips. Though as a primer, i will say here that any pistol grip requires both practice and aptitude of proper shooting stance as well as recoil management. I would not recomend this for people who are either recoil shy, or inexperienced with Pistol Grip Only (henceforth acronymed as PGO) shotguns. improper holding (IE, holding your firearm above your chin and/or less than a few inches away) will result in a 30 dollar tooth extraction for any and all who don't heed this warning. Now as to elaborate on my thoughts on the product. I wholeheartedly support this. PGO shotguns are among my favorite firearms to own and use, so i've gotten acquainted with several kinds. Most are fairly harsh when it comes to energy transfer into your wrists. But after taking this to the range it is significantly softer shooting than other grips i own. Even my Hogue tamer which up until trying this product was my gold standard for pistol grips. For anyone who owns a Stevens 320 and wants to use one of these, This will work with modification. Although the 320 is mostly a clone of the Winchester 1300, curiously, it doesn't use the v shaped cut the winchester does. It does however use a very similiar mount as the Remington 870. Though it will require you to be a little handy with either sand paper and a file, or skill with a dremel. (which is what i used) You will also need to use a different mounting bolt than what this stock comes with, as the one provided is of a smaller diameter than what is needed. I used the bolt the original stock came with. A couple nuts to fill some space was needed in my case.
