Good models include: FN FAL, StG58, FM FAL, M964, R1, G1, DSA SA58. Introduces with screws from standard buttstock (excluded). A FAL-sort buttstock evacuation device is suggested for simple establishment.

The FN FAL Magpul stock has a good fit and appearance, but its durability may need to be improved. After firing sufficient ammunition, the recoil may push the plastic stock out of the bracket, causing the space between the stock and the mounting bracket to increase. The original stock had to be replaced and the replacement had to be fixed by pulling the stock, pushing the bracket back in, and re-embedding the screws with steel epoxy. It is unclear if the issue has been resolved with the fixed stock, as it has yet to be tested. The high price of an HK PSG1 stock, at over $1000, may have prompted the purchaser to try and make the FN FAL Magpul stock work. However, the design flaw and potential durability issues may be a concern.

Although the Magpul FN FAL stock is expensive, it has a great fit and finish. However, the instructions and fasteners need to be completed and may cause some issues during installation. This stock is designed to fit a PTR series, but it does not come with a large 6mm x 1.0 50mm Allen screw to secure the buffer to the main body, which is not mentioned in the instructions. Additionally, the kit includes a 30mm tapered shoulder screw that may not provide enough thread engagement in the plastic. After waiting for the price to come down and experiencing difficulties with the installation process, the purchaser was disappointed with their purchase and regrets not choosing the Spuhr stock. Despite the impressive adjustability for optics, the high price and installation issues left a negative impression.

The Magpul FN FAL stock is a high-quality and well-designed accessory for your rifle. With its adjustable length of pull and cheekpiece, you can easily customize the fit to your body and shooting style for a comfortable and stable shooting experience. The reversible locking latch allows you to switch between a traditional stock and a folding stock, making it a versatile choice for different shooting situations and storage needs. One minor complaint about the stock is that the top screw hole is not threaded, and the original screw may be difficult to incorporate in. If you own a PTR, you may also need to order a larger buffer bolt for the back of the buffer. Overall, the Magpul FN FAL stock is a great product that offers convenience and stability in your shooting.

This Magpul stock is a good product for your FAL; if you are planning on mounting a scope, this is a must-have item, as its fully adjustable. I only wish the fal stock would come in other colors like the ones for the AR-15 do.
