Impact Weapons Components AR end plate is a replacement for the typical AR-15 endplate containing CNC machined construction from one piece of laser cut billet steel and black manganese phosphate coated to MIL-SPEC to prevent corrosion, rust, and use. The QD sling swivel socket is rotation restricted and positioned for easy ambidextrous use without worrying about sling wrap-up! All IWC parts are made by Americans in Impact Weapons Components, LLC. In Colorado. Black MELONITE Plating assures a perfect, deep rich color to match your Reciever along with other IWC Components. MELONITE is an etching / embedding procedure which greatly enhances immunity to corrosion, flaking, scratches, and abuse.

I have used these on over 50 builds , and it is my go to for several reasons , they are worth more than they cost , the Company that makes them are some of the very best people to deal with , the Machine work is the best there is and the finish that they now apply is cutting edge ,....... and the # 1 in my book is that the "post" that mates up with the machined groove thru the threads on the buffer tube , the corners are 90 degree and square , so when you put the torque to the castle nut to sercure the buffer tube the end plate will not "walk" out of that groove and it will keep the alignmnet of your buffer tube , so once you tighten and put the grip on and the stock , it will be in alignment ,..... Perfection , when they stop making them I will stop building ( assembling ) AR's . My two bits !

I couldn't be happier. The shipping was fast and was priced right. The End Plate was as described. It actually fit and looked better than the factory plate. I looked at a lot of endplates be for I purchased this one. I'm satisfied I made a good choice.

This AR QD end plate saves my swivel from twisting into the castle nut. Very little slop with my QR swivel. The fit and finish were outstanding.
