    Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) AR-15 Trigger

Built on the chassis of the Geissele SSA, the Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) provides enhanced trigger control and weapon accuracy while maintaining the robustness and reliability of our combat-proven two-stage trigger. The SSA-E’s reduced first and second stage pull weights result in a trigger with a smooth, light first stage take-up and a crisp, candy cane-like second stage break. The SSA-E is ideal for use in precision Squad Designated Marksman type rifles where weapon accuracy and reliability are critical and a non-adjustable drop in trigger is desired.

    Quality Trigger

I am not much for leaving reviews, but I did want to share my personal experience. I wanted a build that will perform and last to high expectations, so I researched different manufactures and products Geissele was one of those companies that I thought I would try. Very impressed with the SD-C trigger smooth take-up, breaks clean, and with continuous and reliable response. Cannot go wrong if you want reliability, and confidence with every pull of the trigger. Thank you.

    BEST, Most crisp trigger ever

Well, to say this AR trigger is a vast improvement on the mil-spec 9 lb triggers that come w/ most AR kits would be an understatement! I, too, was a tad hesitant about purchasing this trigger due to its hefty price tag, but I had just heard too many good things about this trigger from operators I highly admire. Uhhh, YEAH! This trigger lives up to all the hype & then some. You want the best trigger out there? Then, duh buy this one! you will never go back to mil-spec!..--Dutch

    Best AR Accessories yet!

I didn't realize just how bad the factory AR trigger was until I installed this. This Geissele ssa trigger is almost too right, I think I would have been satisfied with the 4.5 lb model. But I'll buy one for my next AR. And very easy to install. If you can use toilet paper with any degree of proficiency, then you can install this trigger. It's that easy.

SSA-E Well worth the wait and the Co$t

I took a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The Geissele ssa-e trigger Installed easy, no surprises in an LWRC lower. Nothing like a GREAT trigger to aid in accuracy. Breaks cleanly as well as crisp. And after talking to others who run this trigger, none have had any doubling or failure issues of any kind. So it's SAFE. Sure I wish they were a bit cheaper...as I need three of them!

This is a great feeling 2-stage trigger!

With 40+ years of shooting and reloading behind me, I've felt my share of good and bad triggers. I have 2 AR15s that both needed trigger work, and I very much wanted them to have the same feel, for apparent reasons. After reading all the reviews, I opted to try this Geissele trigger group. First, I bought one to check it out. It went into my M&P 15 in about 3 minutes. Fit and finish are as advertised. Beautiful workmanship. The function was flawless, and for those that prefer a 2-stage trigger, this is a very, very nice one. The first stage is as you would expect. No binding or "feel" at all. The second stage is merely a touch - there is absolutely no creep, and it breaks like the proverbial glass rod. The old cliche, but accurate. Very lovely and far better than any AR trigger I have felt before. I immediately ordered another for my older (circa 1979) SGW (now Olympic). I was a little nervous about fitting it into the older SGW, but just like in the M&P, there was no problem at all. In 3 minutes, I had a trigger that's identical to the one in the M&P. I mean identical. I don't know how Geissele can turn them out like that, in a trigger group that isn't contained in one drop-in unit like some others. They do a beautiful job. I cannot say enough nice things about these trigger groups. Very highly recommended, and of course, with the Brownell guarantee, you can't go wrong anyway. Should I buy another AR, regardless of brand or quality, the very first purchase will be another of these trigger groups before I make even one trip to the range. No one should be disappointed with one of these. (I am former military and law enforcement.)

    Excellent drop in trigger

I replaced a single-stage after-market trigger that was prone to go full auto with the Geissele SSA-E and consider the latter to be the best AR-15 trigger I've used. The second stage let-off is perfect. However, a word of caution: The hammer assembly spring, as packaged, was installed backward. Therefore, check spring orientation before attempting to install.

Would buy again for use with .223 upper

I bought this geissele trigger ssa-e for use with my DPMS/Nordic 22lr. Upper. The firing pin in this rimfire upper sits about .080 deeper into the upper than in a .standard .223 upper. The Geissele hammer is about .065 shorter than the mil. Spec. hammer. These two differences combine to create a condition where the hammer barely reaches the firing pin causing extremely light primer strikes and about 90% + misfires. I have this same trigger in my Armalite .223 match rifle and love it. It just won't work in my dedicated 22lr.

    Great AR Trigger

As advertised. Easy install on Bushmaster AR, takes only minutes. Great feel, smooth operation. Perceived trigger weight feels lighter than 3.5 lbs due to how smooth the operation is. Small amount of travel, short reset, clean, and crisp break. It's a substantial investment; I was delighted with the Geissele ssa e Trigger.

    Expensive, and worth it...

Installed this AR-15 trigger in the lower of a Bushmaster. Man, what a difference it makes! It's smooth, clean, and crisp. This geissele drop-in trigger improves the shooting experience dramatically. I was reluctant to spend [$] on a trigger, but I am glad I did. It's so much better than the stock/factory tiger. There's no comparison. The U.S. military should install one of these in every service rifle. It's that good.

Purchased this Geissele SSA trigger to replace the stock mil-spec trigger on a Bushmaster AR-15. It was easy to install and a vast improvement over the original trigger. It has a sweet, smooth first stage and clean, crisp break in the second stage. At [$], it's pricey. But once you shoot with it, you will love it.

    Excellent Trigger

This SSA-E trigger is fantastic! I watched the installation video by Mr. Bill Geissele, founder of Geissele Triggers. He made it so easy to install the trigger myself. Great job, Bill! I tested the factory trigger with my Wheeler trigger pull scale; it was at 7 1/2 Lbs pull weight, way too hard for the precision more extended range shooting that I want to do with my gun. So I bought and installed the SSA-E trigger because I wanted the lightest pull weight I could get, and I got it! After installation, I re-measured my trigger pull weight several times to obtain an average pull weight. 1st Stage Weight was almost precisely the 2.3 lbs. As advertised, and the 2nd Stage weight felt at about 1.2 Lbs again as announced. Very precise. It is a perfect trigger for my application of precision shooting at more extended range with my DDM4V7. FYI, Mr. Bill Geissele also has a youtube video about his different triggers called "Choosing the Right Trigger for You," I recommend that you watch this entire video to understand their triggers differences so that you can choose the right trigger for You. The SSA-E is worth every penny spent on this trigger. Happy shooting!
