Range of Use

EOTech X320 Thermal Imager – Elements

The VGA 320*240 resolution provides immense clarity and detail. 2 times zoom available as default on a push button.
The level of sharpness is such that the X320 is capable of detecting movements as far as 800 yards or 2400 feet.
It is equipped with a video port & cable for concurrent recording of events. The 30Hz quickens the turn on time and also provides instantaneous video images.
The temperature and polarity elements are controlled through a GUI interface.
It is rough and durable and the rubber eye cup has been designed to be water (3feet) and shock proof. It also comes with a built in shroud.

FPA (Focal Plane Array)

The FPA is made of Amorphous Silicon Microbolometer.
With a Spectral response of 7-14 μm (filter bandwidth) and resolution of 320*240, it provides great image clarity and precision.
The Thermal Sensitivity is approximately 40 mK.

Thermal Imaging – The Working

The time taken for start up counting the 2 seconds of logo display is approximately 4 seconds.
The brightness and contrast adjustments are fully automated while e-Zoom and 2* e-Zoom can be set as default on a push button. A simple and easy to control GUI interface aids in management of infrared polarity and temperature. As a default, the polarity is set to White Hot.
Movements from as far as 2400 feet can be detected through the thermal imaging.

Optics

The Field Of View (H x V) is about 12° x 9° and the focal length comes to 25mm.
The Minimum Focus Distance is approximately 3 feet or 1 meter

Video

The Output Format is simultaneous and NTSC output is available on the rear outlet jack.
The viewfinder has a colour LCD Display with a 320 x 240 resolution.
Dimming of the viewfinder can be controlled by a power switch.

The X320 is equipped with 2 AA Batteries and has a six hour functioning time with lithium and two and a half hours with alkaline.

Camera Dimensions

The GUI interface software enables easy setting of the camera to White and Black Hot colour points. It also enables easy control of the push button features.
