Love this Vickers padded sling, the Magpul MS4 is slick, but the LAV sling feels more rugged. Best I've used so far, and the padding makes all the difference.

The blue force gear padded sling is all it is hyped up to be. Comfortable, sturdy, reliable, and easy to use. The pad is just right to sit comfortable on me, the adjuster is fantastic, and I put a triglide on it for the transition from 2 points to 1 point in just seconds. It would be hard to beat a sling-like this. I recommend anyone looking for an excellent sling to fork out the cash on this beautiful design.

The blue force gear padded sling is the best sling I've used for my AR. It's easy to adjust while wearing yet doesn't slip on its own. I would recommend using quick detach mounts on it with a QD triglide so you can put it as a single point if you needed it, although I run it as a 2 point most of the time. Great AR-15 sling

A good sling is needed if you really want to get to basics.

I really like this blue force gear Vickers padded sling for my Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle. I've decided to go sans scope and learn how to really shoot again, as I was taught when I was a kid, and a good sling is sorta necessary for that. The quick-adjust feature makes this sling very versatile and adds value if you do any offhand shooting.

Have had a few slings for my M4. Most comparable to this one would be the VTAC padded 2 point; I have/have used that one as well. I actually prefer the Blue Force Gear Vickers padded sling. The VTAC is a good sling, but I like the "old-school" weaved cotton-like web belt gear material. The Blue Force is made of vice the slippery shiny nylon and also like the adjustment better as well. The blue force uses a friction shackle, whereas the VTAC/others use spring-loaded lock buckle.....the friction shackle is less moving parts/no spring/fail-safe/will not get gunked up with dirt or whatever and it still works as well or better. The Blue Force is overall a little more full than the VTAC both in the padded area as well as the rest of the harness. Might sound wimpy, but I bought some seat belt pads that wrap around the padded area as well for added comfort.......they secure around the padded area with velcro and are very secure/don't slip around.....no shame when comes to small bits of comfort in field....carrying an M4 along with all other crap for hours......starts to dig that shoulder....and don't always have vest on inside wire but still carry my firearm. Anyway.., this doesn't come with quick push-button releases for attaching to rifle......I did put them on mine.....but if have loops on rifle....don't need them if don't want hem....you can loop the sling through rifle attachment loops and anchor by threading back through buckles that are on this sling. So overall, really like the sling: strong, well made, simple operation, less expensive than the VTAC and is still US made. It's good straight forward; adjustable 2 pointer......simple is better.

The real deal is, at times it’s tough for Blue Force Gear to keep up with the demand for these Larry Vickers designed slings, I still have two of them on backorder right now. Larry Vickers used his experience in combat with the US Army, as a contractor, and as a firearms instructor, and I’m sure with input from others like Ken Hackathorn and many of his friends to design the very best combat application sling ever devised. Yes, I do have one on each of my M1 Garands. I’m a collector of all sorts of military firearms, I’ve served in combat, I’ve been in the Army, I’ve volunteered in law enforcement, I am a serious firearms enthusiast and have shot in competition here and there. So if you want the very best combat application sling that you can get. These are the ones to get. I’ve tried out most of the competitor's combat application slings, and they don’t compare. What I usually end up doing with the other brands is put them is; put them on a gun I wouldn’t say I liked that I’m trading off or selling, put them on a build I’m doing for someone that’s not a friend and or give them away. Because of nothing else com...

This is the best sling I have ever used! It truly lives up to the Blue Force Gear and Vickers' names! A very nice touch is the contrasting pull tab to loosen and tighten the sling for transitions. I will be getting a lot of use out of this for the numerous classes that I have coming up. Looking to get another one for another build I’m working on

My new favorite sling. I have a bunch of Magpul MS3 slings that work fine, but this sling is quite a bit lighter weight, and I feel the quick-adjust works better and is more positive. The models with built-in QD swivels were never in stock, so I ordered some this one and some Spike’ Lightweight QD swivels, and it works great.

I'm not a Navy Seal, Army Ranger, or even a Latrine Scrubber working for the Armed Forces, so I haven't had a chance to wear this 2-point sling outside my home. Right now, I have it attached to 2 Daniel Defense QD Swivels (Heavy Duty, 1.250"). One swivel plugs into the forend of my AR15 and the other plugs into my MagPul moving stock (forgive me if that offends any of you Californians). Okay, I'm 6'2" and more than slightly overweight, yet the strap allows plenty of adjustment to fit the AR15 on me, and that is before I deploy the QUICK ADJUST. I chose ordinary black, but Blue Force Gear offers a large assortment of bitchin' colors. Have no question: these are fantastic and versatile slings that will suit all Your rifle-carrying needs. BUY ONE, BUY TWO. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE.

The blue force gear padded sling is what makes this sling awesome. There are others with the same mechanism, but the comfort is the major bonus here. It makes downtime at the range so much easier if you're not in full kit.
