    As Good As Advertised

I found the product to be as good as advertised, well made, and suited for the purpose intended. So often, shell holders don't grip the shell tight enough; that is not the case with the Blackhawk Bandolier. This allows you to invert shells to indicate between slug/00 buck or less-lethal by the way they are inserted. Good job, Blackhawk.

It holds shells snug but still easy to fill the loops. The product is what it claims to be, but heavier than I thought with 55 rounds filled. Great for grabbing over 50 rounds quickly without gathering up a couple of boxes.

    I prefer leather construction

I prefer leather construction. I wouldn't say I like elastic straps, over time, they loosen, and during the abrupt movement, you lose one or two cartridges. But for the money, I would instead buy this (maybe 2) than spend $100 on a leather one.

blackhawk bandolier - far above what I expected

The overall construction is far above what I expected. It's a lot heavier and stiffer than it looks in the picture. I bet you could use it as a tow strap to pull a car or other heavy object. This has to be the best bandoleer available. The bandoleer its self has a circumference of about 53 inches as measured on the inside. The strap itself is about 3/16s of an inch thick. I loaded mine up with 3-inch shells, and they stick out past the strap about 1/8th of an inch on each side. The loops themselves hold the shells very tight, and I couldn't see a problem putting shells upside down if you wanted. It even rotates smoothly around the shoulders to get to the shells in the back. You can't ask for much more. The only possible problem I can see is, if you stock it with a mixed group of shells that are the same color (in my case, green Remington shells), you won't be able to tell them apart. The shells fit tight, and you don't want to have to be searching for the right one. Better come up with a system if you mix your shells. A mark with a sharpie on the face of the brass next to the primer should do it—that, or just by different bands and colors.

    Typical High Quality From Blackhawk!

I wore-out an old, ballistic-nylon shotgun shell bandoleer I had for 25 years and purchased two of these as a replacement, after a LOT of research; many manufacturer's products are cheaply-fabricated and not durable; THIS ONE IS DURABLE! I'm 6' 220 lbs, rides well with a full-load of mixed 2-3/4" and 3" Magnum shells, excellent shell retention when doing strenuous activity, high-quality stitching, and material.....I will purchase two more shortly, HIGHLY recommended product!

Bought this as a Tang Foxtrot Sierra Grab-N-Go along with my chest rig. It's made to take a beating, and the quality is fantastic. I'm a retired combat Marine 6' 2" 250lbs with a 52" chest, and it fits over my chest rig perfectly. It holds 55 rounds and is expected to be heavy with this many rounds. Stop looking and buy it. If you want it to be lighter, then load it half full with every other slot filled. I'm buying another one today!

Well made, quality product. No negatives so far. Not sure if other cheaper models are any good, but this one sure is.

I found this Shotgun Bandolier to be as good as advertised, well made, and suited for the purpose intended. The nylon shell holders are nice and snug so your shells won't fall out. This allows you to invert shells to indicate between slug/00 buck or less lethal by the way they are inserted. Good job, Blackhawk.
