A.R.M.S. #1 G3 / MP5 Scope Mount
Designed to fit the HK-91-93-94,MP5 and SP89. The A.R.M.S. G-3 locks solidly to the upper receiver of the rail while allowing use of the iron sights. The mounting platform provides the A.R.M.S. Universal rail to accept both STANAG and dovetail fastenings, for both day optics, and lasers, as required. STANAG rings and rails can also be utilized. The A.R.M.S. G-3 is manufactured from 4140 steel and phosphate finished black to spec DOD-16232

Tried the product on my PTR-91 and it will not lock into position. I used extreme pressure and it will still not lock down. I am unsure if this is because my receiver is out of spec. or if it is that the A.R.M.S. mount is out of spec. I do not know anyone with an HK style mount to try on my receiver nor do I know anybody with an HK clone to try this mount on to see. I can say that the ARMS mount looked well machined and the finish was nice. I'm just disappointed that it didn't fit. I am not a firearms novice and both ARMS and PTR are both good companies so I was expecting a perfect fit. Not knowing if the problem is the mount or receiver is why I've not asked to send the mount back. If you have access to one, try a real HK or ARMS mount on your receiver before you order the ARMS so you are not in my predicament.

I like this HK 91 scope mount. It took some time to figure out how to correctly put the mount onto my rifle, but once I got the hang of it, it has fit snuggly on my gun ever since. I highly recommend this HK claw mount for anyone with a G3/HK-91/MP5 type rifle.

Have a couple of HK riffles, and this fits perfect on them. Some times it's hard to mount; however, once you get the hang of it, it is easy to install and takes off.

I bought one of these in 1985 for $180 to mount a sight on my new German HK91 ($429). Trying to make it look like the H&W Bundeswehr issue item, I bought a straight sided Simmons 3x with a dot. I zeroed this scope 27 years ago. It has been used in local, informal combat matches, in some big, high speed IPSC side matches and the zero is still there after 3-4 thousand rounds. 3 yrs back I paid $500 plus on E Bay for the real thing, what a let down. The only thing that is better than my original setup is the glass, that, however is amazing.
