Used to replace the stock grip on a npap, and for my large hands, it is way better. Has a soft rubbery texture and the whole grip is n larger. It also has storage in the grip for batteries or small tools.

Nice AK47 grip. It seems to me to be a good middle ground to the Hogue grips and the stock plastic grips. Gives you slight finger grooves, a thicker grip, and a little storage in the grip too! (I can fit four rounds or a couple of CR123 batteries, nice!) Like it a lot.

I installed this grip on a stamped receiver Arsenal Bulgaria AK. I had already fooled with some expensive grips that drove the web of my hand into the sharp angles of the receiver. AKs are among the few firearms where you need the web of your hand to be held just a bit away from the receiver, just as the skinny uncomfortable stock grips are designed to do. These grips mostly retain the standard grip angle. I tried some other grips with a good looking rakish angle, but they were the worst for driving my web into the receiver. The issue is even worse with folders, and a nasty pinch point exists if your grips don't hold your web away. I usually prefer hard grips, but these are just the right amount of tacky on the surface and feel firm underneath. These comfortable grips make me like my AK even more than I did before. They look good, too. I notice a lot of AR-style grips are redesigned to fit an AK. Not a good plan. The clever design of these grips is obviously an AK shooter and designed the optimum grip for an AK.

This AK grip rocks. Hand filling and slightly spongy, it gives you much better control then the skinny grips that come on AKs. Finger groves are not as pronounced as the Hogue grip (which is a great grip for the AK too) and it feels a little fatter. This would be my first choice if I get another AK.
