Nightforce continues to deliver on their reputation for exceptional quality with this product. The inclusion of a recoil lug is a nice touch, though it may not be strictly necessary for all applications. From my experience, I have yet to come across a Remington 700 that has suffered from sheared off screws, which are often caused by cross-threading rather than design limitations. This nightforce remington 700 scope base is exceptional and boasts the expected high quality of Nightforce. As noted in a previous review, I did receive screws that were not compatible with my rifle. But I was able to easily resolve this issue by contacting Nightforce, who promptly sent the correct screws to me at no cost. This outstanding customer service saved me the expense of visiting a gunsmith and spending money to have the base installed. I am highly satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy from Nightforce again in the future.

I bought a Remington 700 sendero in 300 rum. I got this to mount my nightforce 5.5-22x50 scope and rings to the rifle, and I am very pleased with the fit and finish of all of their products. First-class equipment and a top-of-the-line company, you can't go wrong. The base hasn't had any problem holding up to the stiff recoil of the 300 rum.

Nightforce 20 moa picatinny rail is great solid construction and lined up perfectly. I had no issues on the screws or length of the screws. It is heavy, not what I was hoping on the weight of it, but needed a reliable solid base.

The nightforce rails meet high standards for mounting longrange scopes. They make switching scopes between rifles easy .

This is a quality base that fits all "standard" long action Remington 700 actions perfectly. I have this base on several long (magnum) action and short action 700's and have made it my go-to base for Picatinny style optic mounting.

This base is on the higher-priced side of things, but I have never had any issues in the 12 years I've been using them. They stay where you put them, and hold your rings where you put them as well.

Amazing product, I would definitely recommend it. I am using it on a modified Remington 700 XCR tactical long-range .300 win mag. So far, the mounts are working great. I am very happy with them, considering I usually end up breaking everything. I will eventually be switching everything over from the Vortex Viper to a Nightforce in the future. So Far, I am very happy with Nightforce products.

I chose this base because it has a recoil lug. It is heavy steel, with nicely slotted, not round screw holes, so you can push the recoil lug tight against the action before you secure the base with the screws, which of course, aren't holding any of the recoils. I wanted this feature because I was mounting a big heavy scope to a rifle that kicks. The base is pricey, but worth it, in my opinion. There is no base I know of better than this.

I have used every quality rail system from Badger to Leupold. The Nightforce rail seems to have a little less obstruction when loading cartridges, has a recoil lug for durability, they all have fit perfectly, and have been more favorable to the wallet. I have nothing but high marks for all of Nightforce's products, scopes included!
