NcSTAR AK-47 Receiver Cover with Tri-Rail (AK Dust Cover)
NcStar AK Dust Cover tri-rail which replaces factory dust cover and allows mounting of optics. Side rails allow accessories such as lights and lasers. Center cutout allows user to still use iron sights.

(Please note that you will need to Modify this AK-47 Receiver cover when installing because every ak manufacturer has a different tolerance.) So I purchased this over a year ago and installed it on my CAI RH10 (Wasr 10). I had to adjust it by sanding and bending a little to get it to fit. It operates well for my AK and does not pop off. However, It does give me problems for my iron sights because I have RPK style slights. It will hit the top of the Picatinny rail and will not allow me to use iron sights below 400 meters.

I bought this to try it since it was only 19.99. It will not fit a Romanian AK. Front goes on ok but you have to almost force the spring to go through the hole on mount. After you get spring through and the two screws tightened, the rail pops loose after charging a few times. I also had to grind down the rear to make it slide in like the factory one does. Might work for others but I would not buy again.

With very minor modification, it fit my Century arms c39v2! It's nice and snug! The scope isn't the nicest so I skipped on that and put a red dot on it.

I like the look but doesnt fit my Century Arms gp spotter 1975ak-47. The place in the cover where the spring goes in the back where you place it the angle is to steep.

I bought this for my Maadi AKM. It is a well- made piece of kit, however for the Maadi, the button hole is too low. I filed the top of the hole, but the bottom of the hole is about 1/8" too low for the button to put any pressure on it to hold it in place. Moreover, the break of the buffer hits the dust cover. Totally useless for this rifle but I imagine it would really do well on other AK variants.

will not fit on any AK 47. The mounting screws on the back do nothing to hold it in place. This is a complete waste of money.

I was excited when this rail arrived, I was finally gonna get some optics on my amd 65! Unfortunately it was not what I expected.. it took a lot of filing to get it to fit, and the front of it resembles a long finger nail idd like to clip. Why is it soo heavy? Does more weight mean more quality? Not likely since the rail itself is somehow crooked. And thank God for those bolts on the back, I really want to snug it back up after every shot.. I'm thinking about purchasing a dogleg mount soon, not quite sure yet. But at least I have this mount in the mean time to use as a melee weapon. It is sharp.

Wiggles on my maddi ak47 and you have to shave rather the front or pack so it will fit it's just a little to long but other than that looks good and does its job.

I HAVE PUT 2000 ROUNDS WITH MY AK WITH THIS ON ..well first you should put blue threadlocker on all of the screws..after that dont set the screws to far in ...no matter how much you adjust the screws the cover will always move side to side just a little bit..i have shot 100yards and it will still stay in a 3in group....if you could get a side mount i would ..thats what im goin to try next ...
