The Streamlight Stinger DS HPL is a long-range, hand-held flashlight that produces a wide, 740 lumen beam pattern with brighter peripheral illumination and superior down-range performance.
- DUAL SWITCH TECHNOLOGY – Access variable lighting modes via the tail cap or the head-mounted switch; switches operate independently for greater flexibility
- Three modes and strobe:
- High for a, far-reaching beam with maximum illumination: 800 lumens; 438m beam; runs 1.5 hours; 48,000 candela
- Medium for bright light and longer run time: 400 lumens; 310m beam; runs 2.5 hours; 24,000 candela
- Low for a less intense beam and extended run time: 200 lumens; 219m beam; runs 5 hours; 12,000 candela
- Strobe for disorienting or signaling: runs 3 hours
- 3-cell, 3.6 Volt NiMH sub-C battery, rechargeable up to 1000 times.
- Charging:
- Steady charger: Fully recharges within 16 hours
- Smart charger: Fully recharges within 4.5 hours (5V/1A USB input) or 3 hours (12V DC input)
- Smart PB charger: Fully recharges within 7.5 hours (5V/1A USB input) or 4 hours (12V DC input)
- Machined aircraft aluminum body with non-slip rubberized comfort grip

Really bright, strobe, high, medium and low work perfect. I use the streamlight stinger ds led hpl on patrol and love it, has dual switch, and is long enough to hold under my arm while I'm conducting a field interview or writing a citation at night. Plus has a nice long range view on those Texas open fields

I'm a K-9 Handler in a small rural community in the Sierra Mountains of California. I bought a total of 3 of these stinger ds hpl flashlights. I gave one to a fellow officer as a birthday gift, and he was impressed with it. The other two flashlights I use every day at work, and it is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned. It's small, lightweight, durable, and extremely bright. Whenever I use it at work, the other officers are impressed with the bright light.

the Streamlight 75863 Stinger DS LED HP is by far the brightest flashlight for the price and size. The light is a pure white beam, no spots, no yellow. The lens is obvious and significant. The beam is wide yet very focused. The angled head provides a slip-free grip, as does the rubber ribbing. The dual switches make it so very convenient to energize or de-energize the light. Changing light modes is simple; I do not want to fumble for the proper setting when needed. The housing is robust, fit, and finish excellent. I highly recommend this light as a primary flashlight. Outperforms pelican and Maglite. Two things I immediately reach for in threatening situations, this flashlight and my Glock.

This stinger ds hpl flashlight is exceptionally bright and sturdy. It came with an AC charger that you can mount on your wall in a closet or kitchen or where ever. It will come in very handy during a power outage, and in pitch black, you can see hundreds of yards away. I strongly recommend this flashlight.

So impressed with this Streamlight 75863 light that I bought a second one for my truck. This is one amazing and durable flashlight. C4 LED technology makes this one of the brightest lights I've ever owned. Very pleased with the quality and construction. I use mine almost every day. You won't be sorry you purchased this.

Very impressed with the range of this stinger ds hpl flashlight light, it will light up objects out to 100 yards in the dark with no issue. It also puts off an excellent floodlight at the same time. It was designed more for spotting than flooding, though. When looking at an object within a few feet, it is almost too bright. Know your needs and wants for the flashlight before purchasing. Construction is solid; switches work well, and correctly, I charged it once and have now run it several hours and have not placed it back in the charger. I would recommend this light.
