Starting a career in Law Enforcement and wanted a flashlight that was bright and dependable. This flashlight was just it. I recommend it to all my LE friends. I plan on ordering another as my backup flashlight.

This Streamlight stinger ds hl was a gift I purchased; I have one in daily use for over a year and have had such good service from it I knew my Son could also really use one. I researched if any new product had come out since I purchased mine that was in any way better; I did not find one, I am out in all kinds of weather, and this Streamlight, has stood up to the conditions. I plan to purchase another for a friend.

The Streamlight stinger ds hl is a very outstanding flashlight! I’m a police officer and use it for work during my shift at night. It is lightweight, compact, and fits easily into my sap pocket, making it easy to carry and deploy as needed. Battery life is about two hours on a high setting (lower settings last longer), but it comes with two batteries. It’s more than enough to make it through my shift. I originally bought this flashlight as a back up to my standard-issue flashlight, which is much larger and heavier. I ended up using this flashlight as my primary. This is a solid purchase, and I’m thrilled with its performance, handling, and reliability. I recommend this light for everyday tasks and professional use.

The Streamlight stinger ds hl flashlight is far brighter than anything else I have seen in this size. It's durable. I have dropped it several times now, and it is still in good shape. The only downside I have for this flashlight is trying to run it for more than an hour at a time, the light dims. I think this is a feature to help save the battery life and possibly the LED. I'm lead to this conclusion because if I turn it off for 30 minutes or so after an extended run, the light comes back at full intensity until the battery itself drains (about 2 hours per charge).

buy a Stinger ds hl The Stinger ds hl is a Great flashlight, very bright, there are brighter versions of this same flashlight but working as an auto tech, I wouldn't want it any brighter with all the reflective surfaces which makes it's lower light modes Handy. Charge life is good; it can last a couple of days if I don't accidentally leave it on, haha. I usually keep it on the charger, but if I forget and it dies, there is always another battery on the charger! This is a must-have if you want a bright flashlight for any work and want it to be rechargeable, with the charger mounted, you pick up the flashlight, use it and slap it back on the charger no plugging in a tiny USB.

i always love the Streamlight stinger lights. Pricey, but great light, and worth it(to me, at least). The light is intense, yet not so glaring you cant see detail in your view-totally the opposite. I walk my dogs at night, along beach, rural and city streets, etc., and I use the light for seeing animals in the dark- I can spot coyote and bear at night to avoid. Also, great for being recognized by cars who are going way too fast, not expecting to see me and three dogs, off-leash(but as close to me as possible). I trust my life to these lights. They are rechargeable, along with extra battery charger port, so always have a backup power supply. The tail switch is perfect for quick on/off, as well as up top. Easy to find the switch with your thumb w/o need to look for it. As i said: the perfect light.

The best full-size flashlight I’ve owned. 2 years later, still kicking in strong! I did a whole lot of research before I bought this little and let me save you some time..... If your looking for a full-size truck is unit lights purchase it! You can mount the charger on your center console for convincing. If your looking for an excellent hunting or field light, this is it! It’s bright and will never leave you hanging as long as you keep a reasonable charge. But if your looking for a belt/duty light, this IS NOT your best choice unless you prefer old school big lights for......... Well, you got the point. No since elaborating! I recommend the Streamlight strion for the belt and an overall best duty light. I’m a Streamlight fan for life. I’ve dropped both my strion and stinger 3+ stories with no ill effects on functionality. Great product for Streamlight I’ll definitely recommend and purchase again
