I purchsed one of these mounts approx a year ago for my issue M4. I had tried several other brands and found them less than satisfactory.
My biggest problem is I am a lefty. I contacted MSP and got a call back asap. They walked me through the order & assured me that being a lefty was NOT a problem...
After having this for over a year I am very pleased! This particular mount has never failed me, either in opening or closing. It has survived the rugged use of going into the trunk of my unit daily, being exposed to all types of weather as well as attending several hard use schools. It is reliable and quick.
