TriTech Stack Rifle Sling Delta II with "Shock Impact Element "
The Stack Sling Delta II (SSDI/SSDII) is a tactical assault sling constructed of 1.25 inch wide nylon webbing with 4 low profile tri-glides. The Stack Sling Delta II™ has a "shock impact element" on each end of the sling which is also designed to minimize the weapon’s "shock effect" on the operator. These shock impact elements expand forward and contract backward under the weight of the weapon, thereby absorbing a large percentage of the shock impact created by such activities as jumping or dropping from aircraft or buildings onto the ground. Attached to each SSDI/SSDII™ shock impact element is a Mil Spec HK weapon style lobster hook. The SSDI/SSDII™ weapon hooks can be secured to almost any weapon that has two sling swivels points.
The unique feature of the Stack Sling Delta II™ is the One Point Sling Ring™ which permits the operator to convert the 2-point SSDI/SSDII™ sling into a very effective and fast 1-point SSDI/SSDII™ sling for CQB operations. When in the 1-point SSDI/SSDII™ sling configuration, the SSDI/SSDII™ easily attaches to any weapon which has a side mount swivel or a sling adapter plate that is located at/or replaces the receiver plate (in front of the locking ring for the buffer tube assembly) on the collapsible M4 stock or the M16 service stock.
The Stack Sling Delta II™ is an ambidextrous tactical sling for operational usage such as extended carry, or CBQ and/or heavy weapon deployment for weapons like the M203, M249SAW, M60E4 and many others. For extra comfort when carrying heavy weapons, the operator can also obtain a detachable shoulder pad.
