Trijicon CA10: Colt Combat Commander 3 Dot Green Front & Green Rear Night Sights
This set fits the Colt Combat Commander and stake-in front Para Ordnance P13 (excluding Limited version). The front sight tenon size measures 1/8 of an inch.
Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights are three-dot iron sights that increase night-fire shooting accuracy by as much as five times over conventional sights. Equally impressive, they do so with the same speed as instinctive shooting - and without the need for batteries. Housed in a metal body and cushioned within silicone rubber, Bright & Tough Night Sights feature a unique shock-resistant design. Each lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel to help evenly distribute the light while protecting the lamp from solvents and puncture. Contained within aluminum cylinders for additional protection, the lamps are mounted on silicone rubber cushions to withstand shock and heavy recoil. Green lamps are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture.

Desired a Pair of Trijicons for an older Commander.

All that's available today, without a lengthy wait from Trijicon is the Broad (.125 tenon) set for the later Combat Commander. This necessitated modifying the front sight to fit the slip of this older narrow tenon (.060) Colt. Amazon's supplier had the sights to me in a nutshell order. At full retail, however, speed was more essential than the cost for this job. In case you don't have the front sight installation tool for this job, Get it out of Brownells Gunsmithing Catalog, or you might easily destroy That rare front sight. Or have a professional gunsmith with the right Tools do it for you. Ask them if they do, before allowing the'smith have it.
