I have this ctr cheek riser on each of my AR rifles because I have such a low cheek weld. The medium height fits me well. Made to last. Magpul may be more expensive, but they offer accessories and options that work, which is worth the added expense.

We purchased the Magpul cheek riser for my girlfriend's AK-74. The AK has a red dot scope on a low profile side-mount. The problem is that her eye didn't naturally line up with the scope when her cheek was pressed against the buttstock. The Magpul cheek riser brought her eye up just enough to make for easy target acquisition and comfortable shooting. It's a simple, cost-effective solution for anyone who needs a little more cheek elevation. We recommend this product.

Great cheek riser and very securely mounts to the stock. My only complaint with the ctr cheek riser is that your stock must be back, or it will interfere with the charging handle, and you will not be able to charge your weapon. It is very comfortable and works great for a higher cheek weld with my scope.

I bought the Magpul cheek riser to align my eye with a Leupold VX-R scope properly. The alignment is perfect. Magpul states that the stock must be in a fully extended position to operate the charging handle. This is slightly annoying. For this reason, I would not use a self-defense weapon. It could cause a problem if rapidly clearing a malfunction. Works great otherwise. That's the only reason for four stars.

Magpul quality is excellent as always but as one user has noted, this item can and will interfere with your charging handle if the M4 style adj. stock is not in the extended position. The Magpul ctr cheek riser adds on provides a excellent cheek weld and sight alignment. I usually always use my adjustable stock in that position because of my size. If you need a better cheek weld, comfort, and better sight alignment, this will work well for you. Still, again, it will only allow you to use your standard adjustable stock in the extended position I have mostly abandoned adjustable stocks and use the Rock River RRA Operator A2 stock exclusively on most of my M4/CAR style battle rifles. The RRA Operator A2 is a superb stock for any tactical AR set up that also has battery storage and multiple QD sling attachment points. I wish Larry would add this product to his inventory.

The Magpul stock cheek riser Snaps solidly onto the CTR buttstock. Construction is top-notch. Part quality-thickness is excellent but lightweight. The finish is smooth and will not cause abrasion to your cheek. It comes in black, desert tan, and olive drab. Additionally, it comes in three sizes 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4". Overall very glad that I purchased this accessory.

well made, purchased the 1/4" cause i didn't want my head to high above the bore cheek sits nice and in line with my scope.
