Harris, makes an excellent rifle bipod.

The only thing I didn't like was the release button for the legs is facing away from the user. It is much easier to release the button if the pin is rotated 180 degrees. I took mine apart and rotated it. It seems like they would have figured that out at the factory.

A convenient tool for the hunter on the go. The Harris Bipod 1A2-25 is not in the way when you are on the move, and close at hand when you need it. Compact enough for prone shooting in the field, but extends sufficiently for a still sitting shot. It is lightweight and will not alter the point of impact of your shot. Very straightforward to attach and take off in the field. I have used and abused my Harris bipod for over seven years, and it has never stopped on me. I highly recommend it.

    quality & sturdy

Have owned Harris Bipods since 1983, and now own many Harris Bipods. Gained that bipod is an essential tool, mainly if you hunt coyote. Often have to set the rifle down on the ground while you pick up decoy & caller to pack into the backpack. With bipod legs extended, you can keep your muzzle & receiver out of the snow, mud, and dirt. I only owned 4 or 5 of the 9"-13" bipod, before purchasing the 12"-25" model. Harris bipods are simply the best bipods I have owned. I prefer the 9"-13" over the shorter 6"-9" for bench & prone shooting. Found the taller ones are too short for seated shooting for me (over 6'2" and not so flexible anymore), and a bit too tall for prone shooting. This taller 12"-25" bipod is still a very good bipod that works excellent for resting on top of round bales while standing next to & leaning on the bundle. Excellent quality, sturdy, and have never had problems with any Harris Bipod, no matter in cold, snowy Montana & South Dakota winters or wet sloppy muddy spring & fall hunts. The only thing is, you have to have a sling swivel stud to attach them to the rifle. If you do not, then see any gunsmith who can install them if you do not want to try yourself. Thank you for your honesty and advice. Please send them back
