Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).
The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.

The item fit my old Remington 30-06 Model 742 perfectly. Contrary to the picture, it actually has 13 slots instead of 12. This was exactly what I was looking for. I plan on mounting a Vortex scope on it and will try to find scope rings that allow me to still use the fixed sights. The product is well-made and heavy, proudly manufactured in the USA.

I purchased this base to restore a 1982 Woodmaster for an older friend who had lost the upper half of the rings and removed the optics. This base was a perfect fit for the original screw holes and came with Allen head screws in the correct thread pitch. It only took 5 minutes to mount the base and an additional 20 minutes to find compatible rings. I would definitely buy this product again."

I normally use Weaver bases but I decided to try a Remington 760 Picatinny rail. I must say, I am very happy I picked this product! The base fit my Remington 742 and 760 great! Plenty of slots to move my scope rings into - for better eye relief. I would definitely recommend this product.

This Ithaca 37 scope mount fit my model 37 turkey shotgun perfectly, and attaching a red-dot sight to the rail was simple. This rail allowed me to go from fiber-optic sights to a red-dot sight with no modification necessary to my shotgun (it was pre-drilled and tapped to accommodate this rail).

I am very pleased with the fit of this Remington 742 picatinny rail on my old Remington 30-06 model 742. It fits the firearm like a glove, and there are actually 13 slots on this rail rather than the 12 shown in the picture. This rail is exactly what I was looking for and I plan on mounting a Vortex scope on it. It is a heavy, well-made product that is proudly made in the USA. I am able to see the fixed sights down the rail and will try to find scope rings that allow me to continue to utilize them. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

The EGW Ithaca 37 scope mount arrived fast, and I just installed it with no issues. Thus far, have shot about 18 rounds with a scope installed on the new EGW base, and everything is ok.
