wanted to address a common concern for many traveling shooters: the repeatability of our scope mounts, especially when we detach our pricier optics during travel. Personally, I often travel with my precision rifle and prefer not to leave my $3,000 optic attached during flights. So, I tested the BOBRO low-profile 34mm scope mount, which is known for its consistent repeatability. For my test, I shot two 5-round groups. The first group involved breaking my position between shots, simulating the process of removing and re-attaching the scope. For the second group, I actually removed the scope after each shot and then replaced it. Surprisingly, my group with the actual removal and reattachment was tighter than my control group, but I attribute this difference mainly to minor shooter errors. Either way, the BOBRO mount showcased amazing repeatability, with deviations less than a tenth of a mil, which is imperceptible on my scope. For this test, I used top-tier components: a Luther Walther barrel, the nucleus action (which I've previously reviewed), and Berger's new 6.5 Creedmoor ammo loaded with Lapua brass and 130 grain open tip match bullets. The results? The BOBRO mount's return to zero was impeccable. Shoutout to all the mentioned brands for their high-quality products. BOBRO….the name pretty much says it all! But if you’re not familiar with the products they offer you may be missing out. I switched over to Bobro a few years ago and have no regrets. The 34mm dual lever mount as are all the Bobro mounts I have are cleverly designed, precisely manufactured and display exceptional repeatability. I have the Bobro dual lever mount on a Trijicon Hunter and on a VX6hd which allows me to swap between the two optics on my 6 creedmoor at whim. I usually swap between the two optics at least once a day and have never encountered any consequential deviations in POI. Moreover I often swap the Trijicon thermal between other platforms with likewise repeatability. Good stuff….

Super happy with this AR scope mount. I ordered one each for my Trijicon Accupower 1-8x28 and a Burris XTR II 1-8x24 in. Torqued the rings to 12 in/lbs and scopes do not move at all - even on my AR-10. I have not experienced any of the problems reported on this mount. I spoke directly with Bobro and they described in detail how they construct the mount and how the spring bar should be press-fit into the mount base. Both of my mounts were as described and fit tightly in my LWRCI rifles. I would not hesitate to recommend this mount to my shooting buddies.

Very awesome AR15 Scope mount. I added to my AR-10 with a Trijicon 1-8x28 optic. Zeroed in the rifle, disconnected using the quick detach levers. Put it back on and zero was maintained. Expensive but worth the money.

I have a Steiner Military 4-16x50mm scope sitting in the Bobro mount. I am very impressed. There is no movement even before I lock down the two clamps. My current case does not have room for my rifle with the scope mounted, so I've been having to remove the scope. The mount has maintained zero after putting it back on. This is my second Bobro mount. I have another on an ACOG. I been just as happy with that one.

Bobro Engineering Makes a very impressive mount. I have added to my AR-10 with a Trijicon 1-8x28 optic. I Zeroed in the rifle detached and reached using the quick detach levers and zero was maintained. This 34mm Mount is pricey but worth the money.
