I have been using Battle Born Grease on my Colt AR-15 bolt itself, but switched to the Breakthrough High Purity Oil and left the grease for the outer “rails” of the BCG. When you follow the instructed by applying an initial layer, then letting it sit for 15 minutes or so, then using a second sheer layer, it holds well than other oils when the gun is stored for an extended period as it doesn’t “run” like others. Also works excellent to condition and preserve the barrels of my other firearms and living in Florida, safeguarding against the many humid days is a MUST.
