From Primary Arms, the 1-6X 30mm scope offers an ACSS Reticle that is bespoke patented and yet still one of the least expensive on the market today. It offers a number of features including the following;
In addition, the scope and reticle features a ballistic chart so you can choose different qualities of rounds for your particular needs.
You can also adjust the elevation and windage turrets by hand and have the zero point adjusted as well. Each click is measured at .5 MOA so you can quickly make adjustments. In addition, the illumination dial is located on the left side and offers on and off levels from one to six. There is no auto-shutoff feature, so be sure the optic is left “off” when not being used.
The good news about the optic glass is that it provides a clear image of an 18” target up to 750 yards away. The design of the reticle provides a number of different functions while providing a clear view. The CQB horseshoe center, useful BDC points and windage adjustments combined with two different range estimators makes this a remarkable reticle. It does take a little time to get use to, but it works quite well. You can use the scope without understanding the system and basically learn as you go. Just be sure to select the right model that matches your weapon.
While the products from Primary Arms are manufactured in China, they are made from superior materials and it results in getting a 1 – 6x optic for around $250. With US built scopes, getting a 1 – 4x at that price is practically impossible so this is the real deal.
