The carrier from Mesa also includes an adhesive-backed gasket which is die-cut rubber in order to protect your shotgun's protective finish and they are guaranteed not to obscure your shotgun's serial number in any way.

The primary differences that can be seen between the two different models, (apart from their capacity), is down to the backing plate. The backing plate has been fashioned in order to mount the shell carrier assembly on a specific model of shotgun.
